I walk frustrated into the hallway, tempted to ask Eric and Jessica what the hell is going on. When I reach the hallway Eric is nowhere to be seen, the only person I see is Jessica. I rush up to her.

"What the hell are you up to?" I ask her.

"Up to?" she chuckles. "Excuse me?"

"You're not excused," I say. "What are you up to?" I repeat.

"Look, I don't know what you want from me, and frankly I don't care," she says. "But I don't think It'd be good for your resume that you're stalking and harassing one of your initiates,"

I can hear my friends coming up behind me. She gives me a nasty stare before walking away.

Shit.

"Dude, what the hell?!" Peter comes rushing up to me.

"What'd you do now, Four?" Tris asks.

Christina comes up to me a little after them, stuffing muffins in her face.

"Okay, dude, you need some serious work done on your anger issues," Christina says when she's swallowed the muffins.

"You do realize that's a child? she's 16! You're 19! You could get sued for this," Peter says. Disappointment washed over is face.

"Look, I KNOW she's a child but there's something about her, something that gives me the creeps," I say.

"So, she's creepy?" Tris asks. They're all very confused.

"No- That came out wrong," I say embarrassed.

"Then try again," Peter says, impatient.

I give him a look and he shuts up.

"She's lying, about something. Whether it's her name, age, faction, fighting skills, whatever, we need to find out what's going on," Then all of a sudden I realized something.

"OH no," Christina says quietly, realizing I've got an idea.

"Peter, you work in the files department," I say, excitedly.

"Yes, Four, the most boring job in the world, why are we- OH," he realizes.

"Find her file, whatever it takes, and show it to us, there has to be something wrong with it," I say.

"Christina can help you while Tris keeps an eye on Jessica when I can't," I say.

"Then what will you be doing?" Tris asks.

"Doesn't matter," I say. "At least, not right now,"

"Find that file, Hayes!" I say, running in the opposite direction Jessica walked to earlier.
