Tomorrow at dinner everyone will have the information I asked them to find for me. Moment of truth, not to be dramatic. I know she's lying but what could she possibly be lying about, and why?
"I talked to Josh," Peter said as he came up to me at around 5:30pm when everyone was starting to fill the dining hall.
"And?" I ask, curiously.
"Well, he agrees, she's weird," Peter says casually while biting on a piece of bread.
"I mean, does he have any information?"
"Oh! No, he doesn't, he didn't dare to ask. She looks nice but can be very intimidating," He says, as he gulps.
"Yeah, tell me about it," I mumble as I wait for everyone to get their food and sit down with us.
About 20 minutes or so later, everyone is here, except Cristina.
"Where's Cristina?" Peter asks before I could.
"Don't know. She could be anywhere, honestly," Tris responds. "Should we start without her?"
"Wait, hold on, wasn't she supposed to be working with you, Hayes?" I'm getting concerned now.
"Stop calling me Hayes. It's Peter," he says frustrated.
"Whatever, Peter, where is she? Did you guys even work together at all?" Tris asks.
"Well- uh- she, um- she didn't show up," Peter says, sweat dripping from his forehead.
"You're lying. I can tell," I say. I'm getting angry.
"Am not!" he responds angrily.
"Alright, alright, stop fighting! Where the hell is she? What happened?" Tris asks again.
"Okay, fine! She did show up. And, you know, things got a little heated-" he begins.
"OH hell no-" I say.
"I knew it!" Tris says excitedly.
"That's just nasty. Absolutely disgusting," I say and pretend to puke. "That still doesn't explain where she is,"
"She's taking a shower, dumbass, what do you think?" Peter acts frustrated, but I can see it on his face that he is pleased.
