Leaning over the edge, I watched the first match start. Chewing on my fingertip, I listened to Present Mic announcing the students and rules.
"Don't look so scared," Katsuki growled, hitting me around the back of my head. "He'll be fine. Annoyingly, he is a good student and fighter."
Rolling my eyes, I tried to ignore him. "I'm not nervous. I'm super calm. I'm so calm it's worrying."
"Do you want to hide in my shoulder?"
"Yes please." Turning away from the fight, I buried myself in Kastuki's shoulder as he patted my back.
"There there. It'll be over soon."
The buzzer announced the start. Dazlinging lights blinded the crowd as Kaminari fought against Ibara.
"Told you it would be over soon."
Glancing at the arena, Kaminari wasn't hurt but he was brain dead. Ibara wasn't hurt either and as she had lifted Kaminari off the ground, she won the match. At least Kaminari won't get hurt.
"I have no idea what you see in him. Have you looked at him?" Katsuki pointed at Kaminari who was moving his thumbs in a circle with a dumb expression on his face.
Punching Katsuki, I scowled. "Excuse me, like you're one to talk, Mr Kirishima-Simp."
Katsuki gave me a death glare as he tripped me over. "Rude..."

The next match was between Todoroki and Aoyama. The sparkly French boy didn't stand a chance as he was covered in ice along with half the stadium.
I looked up from the floor, seeing the crystal ice towering over us. "Whelp, I'm not getting first place today."
Todoroki apologised as he melted away the ice and let the crowd and students free.

Bakugo growled as he paced in a circle. Kirishima and Tetsutetsu hit each other in a rally of furious smacks. I chuckled at Bakugo's nervousness, teasing him throughout the whole match. I'm pretty sure he was planning my murder.
By the end, neither won the fight as they collapsed together.
Juzo and Reiko were next. I had no idea who these people were. Reiko ran forward, reaching out to grab Juzo but she didn't get far when the ground turned to quicksand. Juzo pressed against the cement, forcing Reiko to stop. With her immobilized, Juzo won.

Smirking, I leaned over. It was Katsuki's turn.
Yaoyorozu walked out. Truthfully, I wasn't sure who I wanted to win. Katsuki was basically my brother but Yaoyorozu was the Goddess.
Sadly, the Goddess was defeated almost as quickly as the rest of the matches. Katsuki didn't even give her a chance as he blasted across the stadium and sent Yaoyorozu out of bounds. How rude of him. He didn't even let her create anything.

The next match was weirdly interesting. Hatsume had convinced- well, tricked- Iida into wearing and using her devices as she explained the very long sales pitch. I watched the whole thing from the corridor leading out, more than glad for the delay.
Eventually, Hatsume walked out of bounds. She had shown off everything she could and there was little point in her continuing the match. That meant I had to fight.
Hatsume wished me luck as I walked out. The purple-haired boy walked out with a disinterested expression. He looked even more tired than I did. Good job weird kid.
