Dashing down the corridor, I charged towards the backup generators. I had to get to Denki. I had to make sure he was okay.

Freezing, I skidded to a halt when I saw the figure walking away. They whistled to themself, singing along with a tune I couldn't identify. They swung their keys around their fingers, swirling it as it echoed off the walls. "I was wondering when you would get here," they said, their voice feeling oddly familiar. "If I was to make my guess, Static probably only has 10 more minutes until brain damage will start to take effect, 15 and he'll be dead. So what are you going to do? Stay here and fight me, or run and save your boyfriend. You won't have time to do both but without doing both, he'll die."

Clicking my fingers out, I grinned. "Oh, you've made a real mistake." Charging forward, I swiped at her, sending the short burst of electricity out. Chuckling to themself, the figure ducked out of the way and kicked me to the side. Swiping out the small blade, I stabbed it into the socket, surrounding myself with electricity.

The figure didn't have a chance to react when my characters were powering over her. Mantu kicked the keys to me as Nabit knocked them out. Smirking to myself, I stood up, swinging the keys around my own fingers. "Turns out I can do both." My characters dissipated as I rushed down the corridor, missing the smile the figure had on their face.

Coming up to the generators, I banged on the door, seeing Kaminari collapse in the centre of the room. Growling, I rushed through the keys, trying each in the lock. They weren't working! The figure lied! They must've hidden the key I need. I didn't have time to get back to them and there was no guarantee they were still there.

"Denki! Denki can you hear me!" Banging on the window, I begged Kaminari to wake up. "Denki!"

"He can't hear you, but I can," the voice echoed out of the speakers. That's why the voice felt so familiar, that figure I thought was the boss.

"Let him out!"

Laughing, the boss crackled. "And why would I do that? Do you know what my quirk is, hero? I'm sure you can guess it. No? Well, I can hack anything, it's how we took over the building so easily. Even with the smallest microchip inside, I can hack it. Which, as it turns out, includes you."

Screaming, my head filled without something I couldn't fight. My skin felt like it was burning, all centring around that hole in the back of my neck. "What are you doing to me?!" Red dripped out of my eyes, hitting my hands as I fell to the floor. "Stop it! Stop it!"

"Don't fight it, boy! You'll be a much better villain than you were ever a hero! Stop fighting and let the darkness take you!" The boss laughed, cheering as it became harder to see.

"No!" My voice cracked, distorting and sounding nothing like mine. "No!" Standing up even though I tried not to, I struggled to retain control. "No!" Electricity rushed through my veins as I spun around. I couldn't leave Denki here. I didn't want to give them control. Yelling, I aimed every bit of power into my palms. Electricity escaped my body, hitting wildly at anything around me and cracking the window. Punching it with the last of my energy, the window broke, shattering down.

Exhausted, I slumped to the floor. I forced myself up, pushing open the door and falling beside Denki.

"Denki, hey, wake up."

Denki didn't stir. Pressing my finger on the side of his neck, I cursed. His heart wasn't beating. Crouching over him, I hit down on his chest in the way I remember being taught.

"Come on Denki, wake up. Wake up for me." Crying, I pushed back any tiredness, focusing on saving Denki as I breathed air into his lungs, repeating the process over and over. "Please. Denki! Please!" Without meaning to, the electricity surrounded me, travelling into Denki's body, shocking him back to me.

Gasping, Denki rolled to his side, gasping for air.

Spinning, I smiled, leaning back. "Welcome back... Denki..." Denki looked over his shoulder, catching me before I hit the ground. "I suggest you run." I could feel the corruption flooding back in my brain. I was too tired. Burying myself in his arms. I grinned softly. "Save my dad for me."

Denki screamed as my eyes drifted close. It's hard to remember what happened next. It was like I was sitting on the passenger's seat of a car, drifting in and out of sleep as the drive went on. I remember screaming and laughing, definitely a strange combination. I don't remember what happened to Denki after I passed out, I hope he was okay. I hope I didn't hurt him.

"Well, this is awkward."

Stepping into the room, Charlie slowly peeked around the corner. Kaminari sighed, holding the body closer to his chest. Looking around, Charlie gulped, blood decorated every wall, the red figures scattered around.

Standing up, Kaminari walked out with the familiar green head in his arms. The second he was out of earshot, Charlie slumped down the wall. "Holly molly that is not good."

Groaning, I blinked awake, looking around the hospital room. Smiling, I turned over, squeezing Denki's hand as I pulled it closer. Denki grumbled, slowly waking up. "Morning."

"You're awake!" Jumping up, Denki beamed, tackling me into a tight hug. "Are you okay? I was so scared!"

Chuckling, I ran my fingers through his hair, pulling him to my side and settling him by me. "I'm okay, I think. Are you okay? No brain damage." Cradling his head, I caressed his cheek.

Denki shook his head, smiling. "Nope. Doctors said I'll be fine, we were more worried about you. Is she still in there?"

"The boss who hacked my brain?" Pausing, I leaned my forehead against him. "Other than the major headache she left, no. I think she's gone. Did I hurt you?"

"No, you gave your dad a real scare though."

Paling, I pushed him a little away. "Oh, no. I think I remember that."

Chuckling, Denki nuzzled into my neck, sighing as he relaxed against me. "I should get the doctor."

Humming, I pulled him closer, gripping onto his shirt tighter. "No. Don't go."

"I should." Denki scrambled out of my arms, standing in front of me. "I'll be back." Pressing a kiss on my cheek, he smiled and walked out of the room. Huffing, I fell back and covered my face with my hand.

"Why didn't you tell him I was still here?" The voice in my head sounded annoyingly bored, almost as if she had better things to do.

"So I could be labelled as dangerous? Would that benefit either of us?"

Chuckling, the voice stopped for a second. "I guess not. I would hope after all the time we've spent together you would trust me a little. If I wanted you to kill everyone, I would have made you do it already. Especially with Kakashi visiting you so often."

"How do I not find that comforting? Just try to keep quiet. My head is noisy enough without you in it."

"I make no promises."

"Why did you choose me?"

"Oh honey, I didn't choose you, you were my only option after what your boyfriend did."

Pausing, I shot up. "Wait, what did Denki do?" Giggling, the voice suddenly fell quiet. Of course, this is when she finally shuts up. "Can you at least tell me your name? Might make me seem a little less insane."

"I'm not sure if it'll help but if you must, it's Yua."
