Sitting up, I stretched out my tried limbs, popping my joints back into place. Sighing, I picked up my phone, scrolling through the immediate news.

Another villain attack, a few TV episodes being brought up for various reasons, celebrity none scene. Nothing I cared about. A few new games were announced but I got told about them weeks ago. Benefits of having a mother working in over half the major game designers.

Pulling myself up, I cleaned up and got changed into my uniform. I attempted to do up my tie for about ten minutes before giving up and leaving it as messy as usual. My outfit was generally messy, they were loose on my short lean body that might not get the best treatment- not that I purposefully ignored it, I just forget to eat sometimes and I'm pretty sure I've only got an hour of sleep today. My pale skin stuck out against my white shirt while my dull green hair swept across my oddly vivid green eyes. I needed a cut but that was effort and too much social interaction for what I can deal with right now.

Walking out the house and towards the train station. It wouldn't take long to get to the school. And I wasn't going to arrive any earlier than needed. If my timing is right- and it usually is- I should arrive with ten minutes of start. Long enough to register and sit down.

Of course my bus broke down.

Not risking U.A rejecting me for arriving late, I rang them up and gave them a warning. I gave them my details and made sure everything would be ready for when this stupid train starts moving.

It would be so much easier if I just could call one of my associates to take me there, it would be a lot faster too but of course I can't use my Quirk without a licence. It's really stupid.

Eventually the train moved and I got into U.A. Midnight gave me the necessary form and showed me to the auditorium. I entered half way through and one of the students was talking about the robots. "What are you doing arriving late?! Do you have no respect?!"

Rolling my eyes at the dark blue haired boy, I walked down the steps and into my seat, greeting Katsuki on the way. "I have respect. The trains do not. It is not my fault that my transport broke down. Now, Present Mic, if you please, continue."

The boy looked shocked by my blunt response as he sat down. Present Mic told us about a zero pointer that was best avoided.

We had a basic academic test that was easy to do. The physical might be a bit more difficult but since it is against big dumb robots, it won't be too difficult. I was put in a section far away from Katsuki- that sucked. I noticed the annoying blue haired boy was here but I didn't fancy talking to him.

I stretched out my arms before taking out my power pack. I didn't get the chance to plug it in before the boy came up, shouting nonsense again. "You shouldn't be on your phone in a time like this! Are you taking any of this seriously?!"

Sighing heavily, I pushed down my hood and plugged in the power pack, not turning it on yet. "Sorry but I need to charge up a bit to get my Quirk working. I'll be sure to show you how serious I am the second I turn it on, kay?"

Waving him off, I walked close to the entrance to the fake city, hearing Present Mic scream, "start!"

I ran forward, switching on my power and feeling the familiar tingling run through me. "Time to start!" Holding out my hand, I let the electricity shoot forward. Blue lighting surrounded the shape of my character. A large robot formed before the students' eyes. Clicking the 'on' button on my headset I connected with the robot. "Destroy the robots."

Clicking the side, my goggles came over my eyes, letting me see from the robot's point of view. I hopped inside the robot onto a platform waiting for me. I started to command him and move forward.

After we killed about four robots, I noticed that none of the other students had moved. "What are you waiting for, a countdown?"

That seemed to do the job as they started to run forward and fight. I was able to take down all the robots in my path. They were pretty easy, especially with this character who could shoot missiles out of his shoulder blades.

We were about half way through when I noticed a headache setting in and my robot glitching. Not risking the consequences of being immobile, I recalled my character and jumped on the floor. I removed my viser and turned off my headset. I turned off the power pack but frowned when I noticed it was almost out of juice anyway.

At least it didn't run out when he was twenty feet in the air, that drop would not have been fun. Deciding to watch the other students, I noticed most were idiots and incompetent. What has this world been reduced to?

Stumbling and struggling to stay up right, I looked around to find the cause of the loud earthquake. A very, very, very large robot standing tall over the buildings.

Well... that is impressive. I wonder what the coding is like inside that. Not the time.

Deciding I didn't want to deal with that, I spun and started to walk away when a small 'help' caused me to stop. Sighing heavily while closing my eyes and gritting my teeth, I turned around. Spotting the boy with the lighting bolt in his hair, I grabbed him and pulled him towards the large robot.

"What are you doing?!"

"We need to help her," I answered, pointing to the girl under the rubble. "I need electricity for my quirk to work but I'm out of power. Mind lending a hand?"

The boy looked mildly panicked but nodded. He grabbed my hand as I reached out with the other. I felt the electricity boil through me and shoot out. This time I created two separate characters, one giant robot who met the other and held it in place while the other destroyed the rubble around the girl.

My head was spinning and I knew my chest had started to beat irregularly- early signs of overuse. The boy noticed that the zero pointer was winning and pushed more electricity through my veins. I let out a scream as I pushed it over. Pushing it into the ground, I ripped off its head.

Feeling dizzy, I looked at the electric boy. "If my heart stops, I have a defibrillator in my bag..."

I could hear his confused and panicked screams as I collapsed and the characters disappeared. Well, this was certainly different.

Humming, the figure kneeled down to look at the alleyway. His brown hair flicked across his face as his cloak swayed in the wind. "They really are awful." The figure growled as he jumped down to tackle the men who were hiding out. Who needs a hero licence when you can beat people up just as effectively without your Quirk?
