Walking down the road with a board expression, I listened to the music. Yes nothing like game music on the way to school, at least none of the songs were too similar.
"Hey, Dekiru, don't leave without me!" Katsuki ran up to me, slapping me around the back of my head- or at least trying to but he missed because I ducked down underneath.
"Like I would bother waiting, I told you when to show up, I'm not wasting my time," I stated back, pulling out one of my earpods so I could at least pretend to pay attention.
"Damn it, Dekiru, stop being so efficient, it's annoying!"
"Why? That's the best way in a game, it makes more sense than constantly running around the map."
Katsuki looked confused- he didn't play as many games as I did, if he did, he would understand. I folded my hands behind my head as we continued our walk. Sometimes, people questioned why Katsuki and I were friends. He's super aggressive and loud and he doesn't like people. I'm more mild mannered and quiet and I do not like people. He doesn't like games and spends too much time studying while I love games and don't study at all- not like I need to study and smart enough to pass without it. Katsuki and I are weird together but he's like my brother, we've got to look after each other or else we'll both die- physically and socially.
Katsuki pulled open the door to our new classroom, 1A. There were a few others in the room but we couldn't care less about that. I pulled out my phone and started playing one of my games. Katsuki sat in front of me and put his feet up on the desk.
"What are you doing?! Don't put your feet up on the desk, it's disrespectful!" Glancing up, I saw the same blue haired man that annoyed me in the entrance exam. What's his problem this time?
Katsuki was shouting right back at him, I'm surprised he hasn't blown him up yet. Guess Katsuki is trying not to get suspended this time.
"Hey, I wouldn't anger him, not if you want to walk out here in one piece that is," I stated bluntly, Katsuki looked offended but he knew I spoke the truth.
The blue haired man ran into my personal space making me back up. "My name is Iida Tenya from Soumei Junior High school, I wish to apologise for the entrance, you understood the entrance exam more than I did."
"Yeah, no. Now you're in the way." I turned back to my game, ignoring Iida who looked shocked. I could hear Katsuki snickering when someone entered the room.
A yellow caterpillar-like teacher wiggled towards the front and stood up. He pulled off his sleeping bag and looked at us. He didn't seem very impressed with how long it took us to quieten down- what a relief, someone who shares my views on efficiency. He told us that his name was Aizawa and wanted us to get changed and meet him on the field.
Katsuki was complaining about this being a pain in which I did agree a little but it was better than wasting our time with orientation. "I wonder what we're doing."
"Hey, aren't you meant to leave your bag in the changing rooms?" Turning I could see a girl with pink skin and hair pointing at my bag.
"Oh, I'm meant to bring it whenever I do anything physical or use my Quirk." I twitched my fingers around my straps, not liking people suggesting that I leave it behind.
"Why?" It was a boy with red hair this time.
"Oh, is that the bag that has your defibrillator in it? You gave us a scare when your heart stopped during the exam, I thought we would need it for me as well." That was the electric kid, he was way too loud. He threw his arm around my shoulders making me groan. Ever heard of personal space Pikachu?
