Jumping up, the class looked around wildly. Katsuki stumbled to his feet, glaring at the villains who were walking onto the school grounds. “For fucks sack, we just crushed these guys! How are they back already?!”
“Why are they here, why now?” Yaoyorozu stepped back, fear seeping into the room.
Crashing through the door, I brought everyone’s attention to me. My eyes stung. My lungs heaved. My legs burned. “Kacchan…” Falling to the floor, sobs took over me. Katsuki rushed over, catching me before I could collapse completely.
“Izuku? What’s wrong?”
Burying myself in his shoulder, I couldn’t stem the tears. “Denki… He’s the traitor! He brought the villains here! He’s going to kill us!”
The class gasped, their eyes widening in shock. Some tried to deny it but they knew I wasn’t lying.
The building shook. Heroes flooded out, getting ready to stand and stop the attackers. Aizawa burst into the room, taking a mental headcount of everyone inside. “Where’s Denki and Charlie?” Iida stepped forward, telling Aizawa what I had told them all. Cursing, Aizawa tightened his fist. “And Charlie? Where is she?”
Gulping, Mina and I shared a look. “She’s with Denki,” we claimed together, terror gripping me. I left her there! I left her with the traitor!
Growling, Aizawa spun around. “I told you guys not to traumatise her! Is that too much to ask!” Before anyone could stop him, he was already dashing down the corridor. “Get out of the building! This place could crumble at any moment!”
Katsuki lifted me up, helping me stabilise in his arms. “We need to go.”
Shaking my head, I couldn’t. He knew I couldn’t. “Charlie’s only here because of me. If she didn’t come back for me she wouldn’t have found out who the traitor was and wouldn’t have come here. I can’t leave her to die!”
“None of us will.” Kirishima patted my shoulder, a serious expression on his face.
“Yeah, plus that traitor owes us an explanation,” Mina jumped up, rushing out of the door as she looked back. “Yao-momo, get the others out. We’re counting on you to keep everyone safe.”
Yao-momo gaped, about to question Mina’s choice but we were already gone. The ground disintegrated under our feet, threatening to give out. The fire built up, encasing half the building as the villains hit against the heroes. More nomus than I had ever seen took over the bottom floor, stopping the villains from getting too close to the students.
In the epicentre of it all, Aizawa crashed through the wall. Denki was surrounded by electricity, tumbling off him like a waterfall. “I wish it hadn’t come to this Aizawa, I actually liked you but if you’re going to make this difficult, I guess I’ll have to delete you from the picture.” Denki touched the floor, electricity shooting out and spiking through Aizawa.
“That’s enough!” Exploding, Kstsuki stood between Denki and Aizawa. Mina rushed to Aizawa’s side, lifting him up and checking him over. “What the hell is wrong with you, Pikachu!”
Denki scoffed, lifting himself up. “What’s wrong with me, what’s wrong with you!”
“Denki, bro, why are you doing this?” Kirishima gulped as Denki glared at him.
“Do you remember my sister? No, of course, you don’t! She died before I came to UA. A villain took her, kidnapped her before my very eyes! We told the policemen and the heroes what happened, begged them to listen but no, she’s just another runaway teen who wasn’t worth their time! Heroes don’t care about us! They don’t care about helping people, not unless it serves their own purpose!”
"But they came for you! We came for you!" I could hear my voice cracking, struggling to face Denki, not while he looked at us with such hate.
"Those heroes came to capture the LOV and All For One. They didn't care about me!"
"I care about you!"
Denki's eyes flickered, softening for a second. "Join me, Izu. You don't have to hurt anyone or fight, just leave the heroes behind. We can be happy. I’ll bring you games and you can live in a world where no one pushes you to give yourself heart attacks just so they can bunk off. Join us. Join me."
Shaking my head, I stepped back. Katsuki growled, standing in front of me protectively. "Not a chance, Pikachu!"
Denki's eyes darkened again. "I wasn't asking you." Circling Katsuki, Denki scowled. "I wasn't going to hurt you, Izuku cares about you but if you get in my way I might have no choice!" Charging forward, Denki tried to hit Bakugo who jumped away.
Kirishima dashed forward, throwing his hands in an attempt to punch Denki but each missed. Denki surrounded himself with electricity, reaching out to grab Kirishima.
Jumping in the way, I grabbed Denki, his electricity filling me. "Please Denki! Stop this! This isn't the Denki I fell in love with."
Denki smiled, cupping my cheek. "I am the Denki you fell in love with, I haven't changed since we met. I love you."
Tears fell from my eyes as I shook. "I love you too. I'm sorry." Grabbing his head, the electricity sparked around us, blinding everyone else.
Yua didn't say anything as she left my head, hacking through Denki's mind. He screamed, struggling against me as Yua ran rampant. Releasing his Quirk, Denki tried to fight off the person in his head but it wouldn’t work. I knew it wouldn’t work.
Falling to the floor, Denki collapsed in my arms. "Haya…" A single tear fell from his eyes as the last memory of her was destroyed by my unlikely ally.
Yua returned to my head, falling asleep in my brain as she rested.
Charlie screamed, holding the knife in her hand as she jumped into the room. She stumbled to a halt when noticing the fighting was already over. "Oh, yay, you didn't die."
Charlie yelped as the roof collapsed behind her. Rushing over, Charlie brought us into a circle, making us disappear in a puff of blue smoke.
