Arthur and Valery both swim to Atlantis, racing each other to see who can get there first and fastest. Arthur wins by a long shot causing Valery to laugh, "Welcome to Atlantis, Valery." "Wow, this is where you come from? It's even more beautiful than Krypton." "I'm not from here, really. My mother, Queen Atlanna was from here. My father found her, took care of her, they fell in love and she had me. But she went back to Atlantis after some time, to protect my father and me." Valery nods, hanging on to Arthur's every word. "What was Krypton like?" Valery thinks, "From what I remember it was beautiful, Mom and Dad lived in a Palace made of Crystals. They were the most beautiful Crystals I've ever seen. Clark and I would admire them...before Krypton was destroyed and our parents killed." Arthur frowns, "I'm sorry Valery, I didn't know your home planet was destroyed." "Krypton was considered by the universe a peaceful and advanced planet until civil war broke out, leading to its destruction in 1986 by General Zod and the renegade Zor-El after they used Brainiac to ignite Krypton's unstable core." "Wow, that's pretty scary and crazy." "The craziest part about it all is that Zod and Zor-El were my uncles." "What happened to them, your uncles?" "Zor-El was killed in the explosion and Zod was imprisoned in the Phantom Zone. When Krypton exploded Zod and his followers were freed from the Phantom Zone and then he came to Earth to try and rebuild Krypton and my brother killed him." "That must've been hard for Clark to do." "Of course it was, Zod and Zor-El may have had a hand in the destruction of Krypton, but they were still our family." Arthur nods, "Well, that was then, this is now, and you're in the most beautiful kingdom in the world." Valery nods, "Atlantis." Arthur nods. "I want you to meet everyone."

Arthur and Valery swim to the Palace where Arthur reigns as King. "This makes me wish I were Atlantean, you are so lucky." Valery's comment causes Arthur to laugh, "Vulko, I want you to meet Valery Kent, Valery this is Nuidis Vulko. He taught me everything I know about how to be an Atlantean." Valery smiles at Vulko, "Please to meet you, Mr. Vulko." "You're the one Arthur speaks highly of." Valery blushes, "Oh I'm just your average Kryptonian girl." "Kryptonian? You dumped me for a Kryptonian?!" A voice from behind Valery sounds, causing her to turn around. "Who are you?" "Mera, I've told you numerous times I'm sorry." "I'm Mera, I'm supposed to be Queen of Atlantis right now but no, Arthur had to go break my heart." "I'm sorry that your heart is broken, trust me I know how it feels." "Oh, like you know anything about heartbreak, you're just leftover trash that survived Krypton's demise." "Mera!" Vulko scolds her. "Yes, I do know what it's like! I not only lost my home, but I lost my people as well! My brother and I are the only survivors of Krypton, I know what it's like to lose everything you've ever known. My brother and I were toddlers when we lost our home and entire family, we were toddlers! You have your family, you have your home, you have your kingdom!" "Oh, you act like you have nothing, at least you have your brother!" Mera exclaims, Vulko once again steps in. "Mera, that will be enough." Valery looks at Mera with puffy eyes, being underwater you can't see the tears obviously. "Yeah, he was dead too! He made a sacrifice to save our second home from destruction! He was killed by a Kryptonian Beast created by Alex Luthor, Clark and I grabbed a Kryptonian Spear, but I was too weak and Clark got killed....Bruce brought him back to me." "How sweet dead brother back from the dead, news flash nobody cares!" Valery glares at Mera, "If it's a fight you want, then we do it on my turf." "Why, because you can only go so long without sunlight? Not getting weak are you?" Mera asks in a cocky manner. Valery slowly becomes angered with Mera's antics but refrains from going on a rampage and destroying Atlantis. Instead, Valery begins swimming back to the surface. "She will no longer be welcomed back here in Atlantis, this is my Kingdom! Mine, not hers!" Mera screams, before swimming off.

Valery breaks through the surface pretty quickly, going into the woods, and destroying it with her Heat Vision as Blue Rays emit from her eyes. Arthur reaches the surface moments after Valery, "Valery, please calm down." Valery screams out in a rampage still emitting Blue Rays from her eyes, falling to her knees. "Valery, you're going to hurt yourself." Valery looks at Arthur, her Heat Vision burning him and cutting her before she falls unconscious.

Arthur winces a bit but picks up Valery and carries her to the Lighthouse. "Arthur, darling, what's wrong? Why are you burnt baby?" Queen Atlanna asks rushing to his side. "Valery, she's hurt...please take her." Tom comes over to Arthur and Atlanna quickly takes Valery from Arthur's arms and lays her on the sofa. "What happened?" Tom asks Arthur. Arthur kneels in front of Valery, "She had Blue Rays coming from her eyes, she looked at me I got burnt and cuts started forming on her before she passed out." "Blue Rays?" Atlanna asks. "I have no idea, I just know she was destroying everything in sight." Valery jolts forward quickly, "What happened?" Arthur grasps Valery's face in his hands, "You're okay, I thought I lost you." Valery smiles softly at Arthur, "As long as Green Kryptonite isn't involved, you won't lose me." Arthur smiles and hugs Valery which she returns. Atlanna sits down beside Valery, "What happened?" "Mera, I was furious with her that I nearly destroyed Atlantis. I had to get out of there, I swam to the surface and destroyed a forest in a rampage, burnt Arthur, and hurt myself. I'm sorry Arthur." Arthur shakes his head, "Don't be, I'm fine. I'll heal once I get into the water."
