It's been months since Steppenwolf attempted to destroy the world, Valery has moved out of her brother's house but she still visits every day. But right now, she was set on seeing Arthur again after months. She's thought about what he said to her for months that night in The Flying Fox. Valery lands in front of the lighthouse and knocks on the door, an older man answers the door. "Hi, is this Arthur's house?" "No it's mine, I'm his father, Tom Curry." "Oh, hello, Mr. Curry, I'm Valery Kent." "Please come in," Tom says stepping aside. "Thank you," Valery says, walking inside as Tom shuts the door behind her. Valery meets an older blonde woman, "Hello, you must be Valery." Valery nods, "I am, and you are?" "Queen Atlanna, I'm Arthur's mother. My son spoke very highly of you." "Spoke?" Valery questions, furrowing her brows. "He didn't tell you, he's King of Atlantis now," Tom says proudly. "King. When's he coming back?" "He'll come back when he's ready," Queen Atlanna says with a smile. "I understand that, but I haven't seen him in months...I just wanted to talk to him." Queen Atlanna smiles, "You miss him deeply." "I do. I do very much. Which is weird, because I barely know him." "Arthur did mention you a few times before he left," Tom says. "Arthur talked about me?" "He did, he cares very much for you," Queen Atlanna says. Valery smiles, "Well, I don't want to be a bother. If you see him, tell him Superman's little sister stopped by." Queen Atlanna nods, "Of course, dear." Valery smiles as Tom shows her out, Valery waves to them before flying off.
A few days later Valery hears a knock on the door of her house, "Just a minute!" Valery calls out, going to the door. Another knock comes, "I said just a minute, I'm coming!" Valery opens the door and sees Arthur. "Arthur!" Valery hugs him tightly. "Hey, Valery." Arthur hugs her back, before letting go. "I had to go ask your brother where you live, I thought you were still with him." "No, I moved not long after we defeated Steppenwolf," Valery says, stepping aside to let Arthur in. Arthur walks inside shutting the door behind him. "Nice place, nice view of the ocean." Valery shrugs, "What can I say, I love the ocean." Arthur smiles, "Oh yeah, it's the ocean you love." Valery looks up at Arthur, "Something like that, Curry." Arthur smiles, "My Pops said you wanted to talk to me?" Valery nods, "Honestly, I just missed you. Your parents said you're King of Atlantis now, I hope that doesn't mean that I'll see less of you." Arthur nods, "Sadly Atlantis is my home now, I'm the King." "Atlantis is very lucky to have you as their King." Arthur smiles, "I'd love for you to come to Atlantis." "Oh Arthur, I'd love to come to Atlantis." Arthur smiles at Valery and hugs her tightly spinning her around. "Let's go." "Right now?" Arthur nods practically dragging Valery to the ocean. "Try to keep up, Kent." Valery smiles, "You're so on, Curry." Valery dives into the water after Arthur.
