It's been roughly an hour since Bruce started an IV for Valery, containing the serum. Valery has writhed in pain from the serum, but Arthur and Clark haven't left her side. "She's hurting," Arthur says to Bruce. "It's working." Clark notices the red veins leaving Valery's face and neck. "Val?" Valery looks at Clark, "What happened?" Clark and Arthur explain what happened. "I annihilated over a hundred people?" Valery asks, weeping. Clark nods, "Metropolis wants justice to be served." "And Atlantis wants you exiled to the trenches," Arthur confesses. "Did I kill any Atlanteans?" "No." "You need to publicly apologise to Metropolis." "I don't think they'll forgive me, I'm a murderer." "Atlantis can't exile you to the Trenches, as long as I'm King and as long as you vow to help rebuild." "Of course, I will." "And Metropolis will forgive you, as long as they see how remorseful you are for what you did," Clark says. "I can record it for you and have it broadcasted all over Metropolis," Bruce says. "Can you?" Bruce nods. "Thank you," Valery says. Bruce nods and records Valery, "I'm extremely ashamed of what I did, and I'm genuinely sorry for everything, I wish I could bring them back, but I can't. But that wasn't me, well it was. But I was under the exposure of Red Kryptonite, I had no control over what I was doing or who I was doing it to. Metropolis, you know me, I would never hurt the city I strive to protect, I would never hurt the people I strive to protect. I fully understand that you, Metropolis, are mad at me I don't blame you. I don't deserve your forgiveness, but I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me. If I can help in any way, I will. Please don't turn your backs on me, or fear me. I'm cured of the Red Kryptonite now thanks to Batman, he's smarter than he seems." Valery smiles a bit, the remorse evident on her face. "I love you Metropolis, you gave my brother a second chance a long time ago, I only hope you will do the same for me," Valery says with tears. Bruce shuts the camera off, "I'll send that to the local news station in Metropolis right now." "Thank you, Bruce," Clark says.

A few weeks later Valery stands before Metropolis, as Superwoman "Metropolis, I stand before you to tell you that I am here to help you rebuild the city that we love." "You're evil!" "You don't belong here!" "You should've died!" "Burn in hell!" People of Metropolis yell at her. "I understand you're all very angry with me, and you have every right to be mad. I remember not so long ago my brother destroyed Metropolis, you forgave him." "You killed over a hundred people!" "Yeah, you're a murderer!" "You should be in jail!" More angry people yell, and Valery frowns. "Metropolis, I will pay for the funerals of those lost and I will pay to have the city repaired. I know I can't bring back your loved ones but you must understand where we come from, on Krypton, Red Kryptonite turns us Kryptonian's evil. We have no control over who we hurt or kill, I regret it." Metropolis doesn't care what Valery has to say they keep yelling insults and death wishes at her. Clark flies in, landing beside Valery. "Metropolis, you forgave me and I've killed innocent people before, what's the difference? My sister is not a monster, none of us are. My sister has more dignity than I did then, I never publicly apologied for it but she did and that takes real guts if you ask me," Clark says, just as the rest of the team shows up. "We will stand by Superwoman, even if you won't," Bruce says, earning a soft smile from Valery. "She also destroyed my home, but my people swore to forgive her as long as she helps rebuild," Arthur says, putting his arm around Valery's waist. "Superwoman agreed to help you, Metropolis, with all of your needs. Yet you refuse to forgive her, you all wish bad things on her when she has saved all of your lives more than once," Diana says. "She was saving your lives before we even knew who she was, she didn't have to use her power to save any of you, but she did. She didn't have to join this team to save all your lives, but she did. She didn't have to bring her brother back from the dead, but she did," Victor says. "She did all of that because she cares, she cares for her brother, she cares for us, she cares for her mother, and she especially cares for all of you. And if none of you can forgive her, then she doesn't owe any of you gratitude," Barry says, earning a soft smile from Valery. "Look at my sister, this has torn her up inside. She has to live with what she did for the rest of her life, can't any of you show the smallest bit of gratitude towards her?" Clark asks.

A little girl no older than six with green eyes, red hair, and freckled cheeks steps forward. "She saved my mommy yesterday before she was turned evil." The little girl's mother steps forward, "I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for you, Superwoman. Thank you." Valery nods. An elderly woman steps forward, "I know it's nothing big, but she saved my cat Muffin, from a tree once. Thank you." "You're welcome, ma'am." Soon more people begin stepping forward showing their gratitude towards Valery. "Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman, Superman, and I will all help pay for anything you need. We'll even help you rebuild, it'll take some time though," Valery says.

It takes about three months with the help of the Justice League to rebuild Metropolis, but they get the job done, and all is forgiven. "Thank you Metropolis, I'm forever grateful to all of you," Valery says, as the Justice League leaves. "Val, if you're going down to help Arthur rebuild, you had best fly up to the sun," Clark says. Valery nods, "You're coming too, I need my big brother there." "Can I?" "If you absorb enough of the sun's rays, you'll be able to," Arthur says, causing Clark to nod and the two super siblings fly off towards the sun. "How are the Atlanteans holding up?" Diana asks. "They're still mad at Val for not apologising to them." "That would be my fault, I didn't know if they had TVs in Atlantis," Bruce says. "We used to before we sunk," Arthur says. "Is anything gonna happen to Valery?" Barry asks. "Not as long as I'm King."

In Atlantis, the Super Siblings help rebuild the parts of Atlantis that had been destroyed by Valery. "Thank you, Queen Valery." An Atlantean boy says. "You're very welcome." Vulko comes over, "Miss. Kent." Valery turns around, "Vulko, so nice to see you again. This is my big brother Kal-El, we call him Clark." Vulko looks at Valery with sad eyes, "Miss. Kent, I'm afraid that you must be exiled to the trenches." "Under whose order?" "Arthur!" Valery calls out. "King Nereus, for nearly killing his daughter." Valery looks around for Arthur but doesn't see him. "He's with Queen Mera," Vulko says. "Does he know?" Clark asks. "Neither he, nor Queen Mera know," Vulko says. As guards come up to Valery, grab her and take her towards the trenches. "Clark!! Find Arthur!" Clark nods and swims off to find Arthur and Mera.

After a few minutes of searching, Clark finds them, "Arthur, Mera, you have to come quickly! It's Valery, she's been taken to the trenches." "Under whose order?!" Mera asks. "Someone named King Nereus, for almost killing his daughter." Mera's brows furrow, "You go find her and I'll go talk to my father." She says, swimming off. Arthur looks at Clark, "We have to go now, we don't have much time," Arthur says as the two take off towards the trenches.

Valery fights off most of the guards, "You can't do this! King Arthur will be furious with you!" "You must pay for your crime, you must be exiled." One of the guards says, while another guard pushes Valery over the edge sending her down the trenches. Valery cries out for Arthur and Clark as the monsters of the Trenches attack her.
