"Gryffindor!" the sorting hat cried after 3 minutes of thinking and conversation, the hat had looked through his memories all in a few seconds and Percy felt like his memories were put through a blender. Afterward, Percy jumped off the stool still in a daze. And Hazel was called up, as the hat filed through her memories, her face grimaced. The hat's decision was made even quicker than Percy's and she was also a Gryffindor. Next was Jason, who ended up being a hat stall because the hat just couldn't decide on whether he should be in Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. The hat, in the end, chose Gryffindor because Jason kept asking for the hat to place him with his very best friend/bro, Percy.

Nico was called up next, the hat spent 4 whole minutes conflicted between sending him to Slytherin or Gryffindor before finally placing him in Gryffindor. And Piper was last, and the hat immediately placed her in Gryffindor not even a few seconds after it was placed on her head. After the strange memory blender experience, everyone was brought to the room of requirement to sleep. By the time everyone found their supposed living quarters, the time was already midnight. The Room of Requirements was where they stayed and it gave them all that they required.

(hehe, required, requirement.)

All five instantly fell asleep as stars twinkled outside their windows.

The next morning, Percy was first to wake up. His room had a very large bathroom much to his delight. He took a short shower (fully clothed) came out and instantly dried. He was pondering whether to change into the wizard robes that he found in his backpack or just to wear his usual attire. He thought the robes were long, inconvenient, and stupid. He constantly tripped whenever he tried to run in them, well he can't even run in them, like as he said, very impractical.

He knew that students needed to have their school uniform to attend Hogwarts but the rules never said anything about actually wearing them. the students just wore the uniforms without complaint because it was the clothes that witches and wizards wore, plus the fact that many didn't want to stand out.

He also suddenly recalled that Dumbledore the night before had informed the group that the eighth year group, or the 7th year and N.E.W.T retakers and takers would not have the DADA teacher that the rest of the school was having. Percy wondered who would teach the 7th and 8th years when he suddenly realized that, the demigods were probably there just for that. Percy's reaction was as expected; he swore.

The mission at first sounded fun for him when Hazel first told him about it and now he was expected to teach?! Percy wasn't a teacher, the best he could do was a swordfighter instructor.

"My bro! How's your morning!" Jason cried suddenly from behind Percy's back, breaking out from his thoughts.

'Bro! You didn't scare me, try harder next time." Percy said shoving Jason with his elbow.

"And my morning is going fine, thank you very much," Percy said turning to Jason,

"I just realized that we have to teach here, I'm totally calm and happy after that. " Percy said with obvious sarcasm.

"Hazel might be teaching, she is the best at magic out of all of us and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she's better than the whole school," Jason said while shrugging, Percy grinned as he draped an arm around Jason's shoulder.

"Bro let's go for breakfast, I hope the British stuff is good," he exclaimed, the two boys had a bond, only the closest of brothers or friends had, anyone, could tell. The two boys both packed everything into their separate backpacks and decided to wait for the others in the corridor. They both knew to have their backpacks on because the room they were staying in would vanish after no one is staying in it anymore and they don't want their stuff to vanish or end up in some nosy person's hands.

Piper came out soon after with her pink backpack on her shoulders, her hair braided with feathers, her knife sticking out of her pocket and her wand in hand. Both Percy and Jason only then realized that they promptly forgot their wands.

"Accio Percy and Jason's wands!" Piper said flicking her wand carelessly, both wands came zooming out of their rooms and almost hit both boys in the face. But they had their reflexes and caught the wands in time. Hazel and Nico both came out afterward with Nico still kind of grumpy. (He misses his doctor/ Will Solace)

Nobody turns out to be wearing their robes because they all agreed that getting some weird looks and maybe breaking some dress codes were not as bad as dying.

The group all wearing their individual backpacks and ran toward the great hall with Percy insisting on sliding down all the banisters instead of walking or running down the stairs. He got a lot of attention from that. Jason wanted to follow Percy's example too but instead of sliding down the banister, Jason hovered down the staircases and carried a blushing Piper bridal style in his arms. Nico just straight up shadow traveled out of his annoyance. Hazel was the only one in the group who was walking somewhat normally.

When they finally entered the great hall, all eyes turned to them. All the students were silent of shock. When they recovered, whispers and muttering broke out everywhere.

The five reluctantly found an unoccupied spot at the Gryffindor table and they all sat down. Suddenly a rain of owls showered through the windows, and something in the swarm seemed to catch everyone's attention.

"What's that?" Hermione asked while pointing, Ron was still inhaling his breakfast and didn't answer. Harry put down his fork and shook his head.

What was it?
