Fast forward to September 1st, Harry Hermione and Ron had arrived in King's Cross and they are getting absolutely spammed by admirers and fans. Harry was having the worst, Hermione the second, and Ron the least amount of fans. Ron was relieved that he wasn't as crowded as Harry but he still felt very jealous. Especially when he spotted Hermione getting praised and admired from every single angle, especially from the boys. He saw boys declare their love for her and was very very mad. Hermione turned them down much to Ron's glee.

They were severely slowed down by the admirers and only managed to find and enter a train compartment when the train just had started moving. Ron couldn't stop complaining about Hermione's fans. Harry just tuned him out as he stared out the window.

(*Warning: this part contains minor swearing*)

"-and they are just so annoying, Hermione was very important and is a very good witch but they don't have to swarm her! I hate fans, wish they will F***ing stay away, with the gifts and empty compliments. We just want some peace and quiet after the F****ing war!" Ron cried waving his hands in the air crazily and red in the face.

"Don't you enjoy the attention though? You get so very excited every time a fan approaches you." Hermione retorted rolling her eyes.  Her cat Crookshanks had jumped out of her arms during the heat of the argument and was winding around Hermione's legs, craving for her attention. Ron's face grew even redder and didn't talk. Suddenly they heard a knock on their train door, Harry sad not to open it just in case if it's fans but Hermione already had pushed open the doors.

Stood there in front of the door was, a girl about 15 or 14 years old of age.  she was a gorgeous girl with choppy brown hair, kaleidoscope eyes, and overall the most beautiful girl Harry has ever seen. Harry couldn't seem to tell if she was smiling or not. Harry felt his eyes glued to her, him unable to look away. She radiated power, beauty? and love. Her presence felt commanding, like anything she said, Harry would do. Harry turned his head towards Ron and saw that he was also staring. Hermione was rolling her eyes with obvious destain towards her.  The girl seemed noticed and raised her eyebrows.

"'Scuse me, do you know which direction is the compartment for exchange students?" She asked in Hermione's direction.

"Not meaning to be rude but, you look like you don't really like me and we don't even know each other." she pointed out, "You're jealous, no, angry, no, unimpressed?" she said, much too quickly, Hermione flushed and glared, almost like she's in denial.

"Sorry, I'm pretty good at reading people, but is it because of the boys?" Hermione didn't answer.

"I'm taken," she stated. Hermione flushed even brighter red and looked down.

"The prefects and teacher's compartments are that direction, maybe yours is there too," Harry said while pointing. As he said directions, he watched Hermione out of the cover of his eye.

"Thanks," she said with a bright smile that could melt ice. Harry got out of his daze only when the girl was nowhere to be seen.

"I feel bored. Is it fine with you guys if I go out alone for some fresh air?" Harry asked, a while after the girl left.

"Won't people swarm you if you do?" Hermione asked through a giant book propped on her knees.

"Yeah, do you need us to come?" Ron asked through a mouthful of candy that Harry has gotten from his admirers and didn't want. The candies were tested for love potions by spells performed by Hermione.

"We're going to come with you, that's what best mate do," Ron said standing up, stuffing the candy that he was holding into his pockets.

"No, it's okay," Harry answered standing up. Hermione and Ron each gave him a look of confusion.
"You sure?" Hermione cried as Harry started to open the doors,

"Yeah, mate, are you really that sure?" Ron followed,

"Yes! I am very sure!" Harry cried, angrier than he meant, and slammed the door behind him. He wandered through the hallway of the train, getting gawks and looks from every train compartment window that he passed.  He suddenly heard a commotion and went to see what was going on.

The girl he met earlier who asked for directions had pressed a boy wearing a black robe against the wall by her compartment door. Her left hand was holding his collar and he was lifted a few inches of the ground. She had a look of absolute anger and hate on her face and in her eyes, that reminded Harry again to not mess with her. Her right hand had a wand to his throat and a few teenagers were cheering from inside the compartment glass window. The boy looked about 3 or 2 years old than her and more than twice her body size.

Her head turned towards Harry at lightning speed, she dropped the older boy onto the ground, and with surprising speed pointed her wand at his throat and kneed him in the chest.

"Oh hey," she said casually as if she wasn't kneeing a guy 2 times larger than her under her knee and pointing a wand threatening at the guy's throat.

"Uh, hi?" Harry answered as a million questions swarmed his head, "Why and how did you do that?"

"He tried to ask me out, and when I said no to him because I'm taken, he resorted to threatening me into it, it didn't work out very well for him." the girl answered with a shrug.

"Oh," Harry said, dumfound. "Name?" he said as he recovered his senses,

"Piper." she answered, "Call me anything else and you will find yourself thoroughly embarrassed."

Harry took a few steps back. Maybe her presence was too much.

Harry turned to run away from Piper, as he did he heard her say,

"Boy,  if you do that again, you might find yourself at the mercy of my friends and me." to the guy who was whimpering.  She had said friends in a tone if her friends were ten times worst than her and that the boy was lucky. Harry decided that he would not like to get on her bad side. If she already was this strong, how strong would her friends be?

Harry ran back to his compartment to find his friends fighting hotly, Ron was accusing Hermione of being a bad friend and also attracting too much attention and Hermione was fighting back just as fiercely about how stupid, dumb and inconsiderate Ron was.

"Hey, the girl earlier is called Piper, she's taken. also, you both are really good friends. Sorry for yelling at you earlier." he interrupted earnestly. Both Hermione and Ron looked up at him and engulfed him in a hug.

"It, alright. We're just worried since the war was the hardest on you." Hermione said after they released. Ron nodded. And on the rest of the train ride, they played Exploding Snap until Ron and Hermione quit because Harry's reflexes were too fast. Hermione spent the rest of the time reading and Ron, eating then sleeping. Harry spent the rest of the time daydreaming and thinking while looking outside the window. He fell asleep a while after too.

"Hey!"Hermione snapped, shaking Ron and Harry awake, "Let's change, we are going to arrive soon. She was already fashioned in her witch robe and had her wand tucked inside her sleeve. The sky outside was dark and foggy.

Harry and Ron both changed quickly taking turns in the bathroom on the train. And soon enough, they arrived shortly. Harry was hit with a sharp wave of nostalgia when he saw the new and rebuilt castle in the distance. The castle's new appearance was identical to its old one, so much so it looked like the battle never happened. He felt suddenly like he was again eleven years old, seeing the castle for the first time.

And for once, Harry sighed in relief.

He was back home.
