Anna's POV
After an exhausting flight and a really interesting talk with some cab driver I arrived the head quarters of Redbull. Today was the day I'll be meeting Christian Horner, the team principale of Redbull and Max himself. As much as I expected to be excited I was more nervous than excited so I texted Samir saying that I basically regret everything and this was the biggest mistake of my life. He replied within 5 minutes and just told me to calm my ass down and that he'd kill me before he'd let me come back. I guess that's what best friends are for. I took a deep breath and walked in. I got in the elevator and you'll never guess who I met.

"Alex"
"Huh" he looked up from his phone and gave me a friendly smile.
"Do we know each other?" he asked, slightly confused
"No you don't, I'm new here, my name's Anna"
"It's nice meeting you, what do you do within Redbull?"
"I'm actually gonna be the one filming Max for his upcoming movie"
"How exciting, have you met him yet?"
"Not yet, I'm actually on my way to meet him"
"O well good luck then" he said nonchalantly before walking out of the elevator.
Okay that was odd. His demeanour changed entirely. He seemed friendly though.

While I was still thinking about what just happened I had already arrived at the designated floor. I walked out of the elevator and saw a desk with a woman behind it. Obviously pre-occupied by her phone. She seemed a bit chaotic.
"Hi, I have an appointment with..."
She simply lifted her finger, signalling me to wait.
Rude much.
I looked around and spotted Christian walking by, instead of waiting I just decided to come up to him.
"Christian" I say a bit too loudly while running after him. He quickly turned around and looked me in the eye
"Hey, Anna right?, I'm pretty sure we've got an appointment, right?"
"Yes, I am and we do have an appointment, I'm sorry for just bumping into you like this but your assistent seemed pretty busy"
"That's alright, lets just walk to my office, Max is there as well." I walked with him and saw Max sitting on one of the chairs through the glass walls.
He was just watching something on his phone but he seemed to be closed off.
Christian opened the door and Max's eyes shot up.

Max's POV

I looked up and saw Christian, behind him was a girl, she had blonde hair and green eyes, she was about 1,70 m and her eyes were filled with curiosity. She looked like a little girl walking into a candy store. She walked past me and went straight to the helmets on display. She was pretty, I noticed that straight away but it didn't do me much. I was still thinking about my ex and I.Should we have stayed together?.What if she was the one after all en I just didn't bother to look?.
"These helmets look so cool, I love the design" the girl said, her voice laced with enthusiasm.
"Yeah they're Max's old helmets" Christian announced with a proud look on his face. He's basically become like a dad to me. The past few years have been a rollercoaster of emotions and I'm just glad I got to spend all that time with him. I feel like he knew me better than everyone else.
For some reason I remain silent. Maybe it's because I don't know what to say or maybe I just don't want to say anything. My mind is just so fucked up at the moment.
"Anna please sit down so we can discuss how we're gonna do this"
She quickly took her seat and listened very carefully to what Christian had to say. It was actually kind of cute. It almost seemed like she was afraid of not hearing everything he said.

Anna's POV

"So I'd like to start with the fact that Anna that will be attending every race this season, I want you following him every step of the way."
"Like hell she will" Max said forcefully.
His sudden demeanour change caught me off guard. How did he go from being so quiet and casual to being so pissed off within seconds.
"What was that Max?,I thought we agreed on this"
"We agreed on making a movie yeah, meaning I would tell you when and where I wanna talk"
"This is happening Max, whether you like it or not,we don't want a boring movie, we want an intense movie about every aspect of your life so to make you even more excited I'm pleased to inform you that she"ll be staying within the same hotel room as you".
"You must be fucking kidding me, what if she distracts me before the races?, what if I won't become world champion because she's nipping at my feet all day?"
As weird as it may sound but i was feeling very conflicted about his behaviour, obviously I was offended but on the other hand it also intrigued me. I've never seen him act this way before except for the fight with Esteban which I totally understood cause it was just plain wrong for Esteban to act the way he did. Maybe he's always been like this and  he just acted differently around the press. Either way it just made me want to get to know him better.

"As far as I've heard from you you've always said you can focus really well so just suck it up and deal with it" Christian said meaning every word of it. That's what pushed Max off the edge. He stormed out of room without looking back.
"I'm sorry about this Anna, I don't know what's going on with him"
I don't know why I did what I did next but I went after him. I needed to know what was going. I highly doubt it's about losing focus.
"Max, what the hell is going on?" I said desperation clearly evident within my voice. It felt like I just needed to know and nothing was gonna stop me from finding out.
He turned around slowly, I knew what was coming but I sure wasn't ready for it
"You know who you're talking to right?, you're not my friend and you won't ever be so just get out of my way before I'll make you"

This is gonna be more complicated than I thought.
