Hey hey, hope you guys have been enjoying the story, just wanted to ask how you guys would feel about me making a chapter from somebody else's POV and if so who?, let me know and have fun reading xoxo.

"You really dug your own grave."Samir commented while casually leaning back on my bed in my room. It felt like it had been ages since I actually had a nice conversation with him. The moment I got into racing life kind of became hectic and I simply didn't have to fly back to the Netherlands all the time and our phone calls never really felt the same as talking to him in real life.
"I did big time." I sighed while rubbing the sleep out my eyes.
"What even happened between you and Max?." Samir asked, obviously curious since I had been somewhat keeping him in the dark about it considering he was still friends with Max
"What do you wanna know?, it's been a mess since the beginning." I replied in full honesty
"Let's start with Charles then, what happened between you guys, the last time you filled me in you didn't even mention him."
"I mean, what can I say?, we didn't really know each other but I saw him looking really down at a club I went to with Max and I got curious so I went up to him." I explained, feeling like it was a weirder story than I thought it was now that I heard it out loud.
"Continue...."
"So I asked what was wrong and he told me about his girlfriend and that she cheated." I explained further but just as I was about to I heard Samir gasp.
"Wait, you mean Charlotte?, I loved her." He said, sounding awfully dramatic.

"Anyway, it doesn't matter, eventually we became friends and he helped me when things weren't going well with Max" I skipped most of the stories in between, feeling like it wouldn't really add anything to it.
"So what are you gonna do?, Max is still crazy about you and from what you told me about Charles earlier I could say the same for him." Samir asked while I felt my heart beating faster the moment he referred to Max.
"What do you mean?, how do you know Max is still crazy about me?" I sounded somewhat desperate but I couldn't find myself to care too much.
"I see the way he looks at you when you're not watching." Samir simply said, the words rolling off his tongue like it was the most casual thing in the world.
"I don't know, i think I fucked up." I admitted to myself for the first time, yeah him cheating was absolutely on him but I realised I had never really given it much of a chance after. I wanted to be him and I couldn't possibly imagine not being with him but at the same thing I knew I never really trusted him anymore and every step forward felt scary.
"Maybe but you have to remember Anna, what's broken can always be fixed."

Those words stuck with me in the car as I finished the race. I couldn't find myself to be able to concentrate, leaving me in P4.
I felt bad for the team especially after qualifying. In a way P4 felt worse than P20 but it didn't really matter anyway.
As I got out of the car I managed to avoid both Charles and Max, walking up to Samir instead.
"I'm sorry I couldn't show you what I was actually capable off." I apologised while taking my gloves off.
"You did great Anna, don't sell yourself short." Samir tried to cheer me up to no avail.
I just wanted to be alone for a little bit but at the same time I felt like I couldn't do that to Samir, especially after him travelling all the way here to see me.
"Anna." Samir spoke up, sounding more shy than ever.
"Oh god, what is it?."I whined, knowing that tone too damm well.
"Are you okay with me going away for a little bit?

"Going away to where?." I asked, confused as to where he would possibly wanted to go considering he didn't know the area at all.
"Lance and I are sort of going on a date?." He almost questioned me, trying to break the news as softly as he could. He kept scanning my features, possibly trying to find any irritation or disappointment but obviously I didn't feel like that at all but it doesn't mean I can't mess with him right?.
"You've been seeing Lance behind my back." I raised my voice. Trying to sound as angry as possible.
"Anna please understand, I haven't been seeing him, we kind of just got to talking on Instagram and he asked if he could take me out once I got here.
"So you were just waiting for me to invite you huh?, you're not even here to see me but just to mess around with him?." I continued my act.
I could see Samir's eyes start to widen, visibly surprised by my reaction. The way he looked made me give up my act. Bursting out in laughter soon after.
"What are you laughing about?." Samir asked, still not getting what was going on.
"Go you idiot, I'm happy for you. I barely know Lance but he seems like a good guy. Have fun." I told him making him sigh in relief.

"I fucking hate you, I thought you were actually mad." He threatened to punch me but I quickly dug.
"Go, he's waiting for you." I pointed towards Lane who I saw airing outside the Aston Martin garage with his helmet still in his hand.
"Thank you, I'll see you later okay?." He said before quickly running off.
I felt a smile creeping up on my face when I saw them give each other a hug. Even though it made me happy to see Samir in love again I couldn't help but feel sad. The feeling of having someone to confide in was something I began to miss.
I slowly started making my way back to my room, allowing myself some time to take some sideways.
I walked past the red bull moterhome and halted my movements.
I felt the urge to go inside to talk to Max, feeling like the urge to not be lonely was bigger than any sort of logical thinking.
Before I knew it I stood in front of his room.
I knocked on the door with my heart beating in my chest.
The door opened as the shirtless figure of Max came into view.
"Can we talk?."
