HARRY POV:

"You're bloody lucky you weren't killed," Hermione scolded me as she scanned the Daily Prophet.

"You have to realize who you are Harry!" She exclaimed as she reached a page that said "More Disappearances."

"I know who I am Hermione, Alright?" I said sharply, annoyed at her lecturing for the past hour.

"Fine then," She said looking up at me.

"Tell me what Arthur said," She demanded, bringing a flashback to me.

"Dumbledore's traveling?" Mr. Weasley questioned curiously in the small shed of the burrow's backyard.

"Yeah- I mean- Snape let it slip," I said, holding back a scowl.

"Well it's news to the Ministry if he is," Mr. Weasley said as he thought.

"They're trying to keep it all together, but there's no denying that times are tough, and after the last two years, no one's supporting Scrimgeour or the ministry," Mr. Weasley informed me.

"Now about that cabinet, you said you three saw that night- I did some research, and it seems as though Draco was looking for a Vanishing Cabinet," He told me.

"A vanishing cabinet?!" Sirius exclaimed as soon as I told him later that night.

"Why would the little ferret need a vanishing cabinet?" Sirius thought out loud.

"It's useless unless it has a twin," He continued.

"A twin?" I asked curiously as Mr. Weasley hadn't told me this.

Did he not know? Or did he not want to tell me?

"A twin- so once you step into it, it transports you wherever its twin cabinet is," Sirius informed me.

"Huh," I let out in thought.

"So where would he need to be transported?" I thought curiously aloud.

"I'm not sure- but whatever he's up to is no good," Sirius muttered.

"HARRY!" Hermione snapped in front of me.

"What- huh? Sorry," I stuttered, shaking my head as she gave me a look.

"Mr. Weasley said that the thing Malfoy was looking at was a vanishing cabinet," I informed Hermione as she got that curious look on her face.

"A vanishing cabinet?" She said as she thought.

"Yeah- apparently it can transport you to its twin or something," I said.

"I've heard of them- but I'll have to do more research," Hermione muttered as she probably was already thinking of which sections would have books on vanishing cabinets.

"Okay, yeah- but why would Malfoy need one?" I muttered quietly so only Hermione could hear.

"That does seem odd," Hermione thought as her eyebrows furrowed.

"You think?" I scoffed.

"As I said- I'll have to check the library," Hermione repeated.

"What else did- On second thought- maybe I should do the research now," Hermione said quickly as soon as Ron appeared on the other side of the hallway.

I stared after her curiously until Ron walked up to me.

"What is up with you two?!" I snapped at an innocent Ron.

"What do you mean?" He retorted back to me innocently as he stared after Hermione in confusion.

"Nevermind," I scoffed just as I walked off and opened my potions book.

I'd had enough of it. Every time I would hang out with Hermione, she would run off in frustration as soon as Ron appeared, who had no idea why or what was happening. Or so he said. Honestly, they just needed to figure their stuff out just like they have almost every year at Hogwarts.

I was walking to find a quiet place to sit in the courtyard when I saw a flash of familiar red hair standing on the right near a corner and chatting with a girl.

Ginny.

No Harry. KEEP WALKING.

My feet had frozen on the spot and weren't following my commands now.

She caught my eye and then took a second glance to find me with a small wave and a curious smile. I smiled and thankfully my feet moved along just as Dean approached her.

Whew!

As I walked farther and farther from her, I realized that my potions book was still open.

That's why I looked weird!

Since when do I walk around school reading books? Well- singular. Reading a book. Well- since I found the half-blood prince's copy of "Advanced Potion Making." I looked down and my eyes caught the familiar spell- Levicorpus.

Sirius and Remus said the spell was used during their time at Hogwarts, but the book dated back to 50 years ago, and the marauders were not even born at that time. Was the dating wrong on the book- and if not- how did the marauders know about the spell?

They said the spell was all the rage in their days, so why would they or anyone else in the school at that time, use any of these spells?

Hi again! Sorry for the shorter chapter but more action is coming soon as Harry finds out about the Horcruxes! Hang in there and don't be afraid to let me know what I did wrong or right! Byee!
