(sorry I didn't put a song- drop one here and I'll attach it f you guys want! If not I'll find one soon haha)

SIRIUS POV:

"So Dumbledore hasn't sought you out yet?" Molly asked as she bustled around her restored kitchen.

"No- and with Remus being underground constantly- I'm the only one sitting around all day!"

"I mean- at least let me do some research!" I whined.

"Oh, Sirius! Don't beat yourself up for it! Dumbledore surely has something in mind for you to do or else he wouldn't send you that suspicious howler with no follow-up meeting or note!" Molly assured me.

"Oh never mind that! How is it at the Ministry?" I asked curiously.

"Arthur doesn't think they're in their right minds anymore, to which I agree,"

"Scrimgeour doesn't really do much except corner Harry for promotion every chance he gets!" Molly snapped.

"Let's just hope it doesn't get worse," She said.

"Oh Sirius- I think that's for you," Molly said, pointing up behind me where I heard a screech.

Hedwig had just appeared in the night sky and was carrying a small letter. She flew in quickly through the open window, dropped my letter on the table, and zoomed out once again.

"Well someone's a show-off," I said, grabbing the letter off of the table.

It was addressed to "Pads."

Huh. Someone was in a hurry and couldn't use my full name.

"Padfoot,

I need to talk. Midnight?"

That's it.

That was the letter.

One sentence.

And what did it mean?

I don't know!

"What's happened, Sirius?" Molly asked from the blank look on my face.

"He needs to talk- but- what- OH! Yes! The fireplace! I need to get back! What time even is it?" I asked looking around for a clock.

"It's fifteen minutes to eleven. You have time, but are you really going to speak with Harry through your fireplace?" Molly asked, with an annoyed tone.

"Hey, I did it in his fourth year, who's to say I can't do it again?" I grinned at Molly as I pulled out my wand.

"You did what?! Sirius just be careful!" Molly scolded me.

"Actually- if I do remember correctly, I did it in the fifth year as well!" I said proudly.

"With Umbridge there?!" Molly exclaimed although I could detect a hint of amusement in her tone.

"Yes, I just hope that what he meant by midnight," I said in thought.

"Well, what else could it mean?" Molly asked me curiously.

"I'm not sure," I said, taking a deep breath and getting ready to leave.

"Thank you for the dinner and the conversation, Molly. I swear if I have to stay another second in that horrid place just staring at the walls I will-"

"Oh come on,  just a few more months and the children will be back,"

"I know it's hard- maybe finding a hobby could help- as you said yourself, research!" Molly suggested.
