SIRIUS POV:

Secrets of the Darkest Art.

MY last hope on finding anything Horcrux-related.

All the other books were useless and not helpful whatsoever.

I had started a bit of this one but had kind of lost hope when I heard of Lethifold attacks and how to control them, but who knows? I don't have much to do anyway.

"Bis Occidere,"

"Bis Occidere is one of the darkest curses of all time, which many witches and wizards don't know about it since it is so rarely used. Avada Kedavra is usually a nice, clean, and easy way to do the trick-"

THE TRICK?

"So most wizards don't use Bis Occidere. This dark and complicated curse usually has double the power of a killing curse, and is said to torture AND kill, all from one spell-

What the hell am I even reading?

"Roughly translated, Bis Occidere means to kill twice the"

Okay- next chapter.

"Homines Terrae,"

"This dark curse was only attempted one single time because of how dangerous it is, but once again, no wizards have tried using it because of its unpopularity. This spell takes multiple steps to work properly (which will be explained later on in this chapter, but this curse presumably makes one a ticking human explosive-"

I'm literally about to shut this book and obliviate myself.

"Horcruxes,"

Who knows what type of ancient stupid magic this-

"HORCRUX!" I yelled, instantly filling the page and starting to read.

"A Horcrux is mainly described as an object, and not a curse or dark spell. A Horcrux is an object in which a witch or wizard can contain a part of their souls, therefore making them somewhat immortal."

Well shit.

"A Horcrux can be created by, and ONLY by committing murder, which can be done-"

Okay, that's enough of the demon spells.

He has a Horcrux. He has to have it.

How else would he have survived all those years ago in Godric's Hallow?

It all makes sense.

Quick, quick, quick!

How to destroy them? I thought as I flipped through the horrifying details of the chapter.

"Of course, these Horcruxes usually have protective measures made to prevent them from being stolen or destroyed, making them almost impossible to destroy."

Well, thanks for that.

Like that would even help-

Before I could finish my thought, an unfamiliar owl swooped into the library, dropped a piece of parchment directly onto the book I was reading, and disappeared before I could react.

Meet at the burrow -Molly

The burrow?

What?

What if something had happened, and why was this message so short, and almost urgent?

I instantly got up and was about to make my way out of the old, grim, house, until I stopped in my tracks, remembering what I had left behind.
