What if Sirius Black didn't die?

Chapter 9: King's Cross Station

PLATFORM NINE-AND-THREE-QUARTERS- John Williams

HARRY POV:

We had our second to last meal last night, and now we were eating breakfast. Well, more like Ron, Sirius, Remus, Tonks, and I were eating breakfast. Ginny and Hermione had woken up earlier to "get ready" and whatever. It didn't matter anyway, the train was leaving in about an hour and we had all decided that we would apparate to Platform 9 and 3/4, in groups. That was most likely why Remus and Tonks were here, but they occasionally came by to visit sometimes too. Ron would go with Mr. Weasley, Ginny would go with Tonks, Hermione would go with Lupin, and I would go with Sirius.

Mrs. Weasley was going to apparate herself there, so she could say goodbye to all of us, as she insisted. At 8:30, we would all be leaving, and Sirius and Remus already cast spells on all of our trunks to arrive at our destination, so I was just finishing my breakfast slowly Ron, as it was only 8 am. Hermione, as expected, was freaking out that she forgot something, especially since she wouldn't be arriving with her trunk, she would just arrive next to it on the platform. Ginny was pretty okay, but then Mrs. Weasley started giving her a list of things that she did or didn't pack in her bags.

"Books?" She started.

"Yes." Said Ginny.

"Supplies?" Mrs. Weasley continued.

"Yes." Replied Ginny.

"Toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush-" she was interrupted.

"Yes, yes, and yes mum. I got everything." Said Ginny exasperated.

"Oh alright." She said, defeated.

"But don't write me later telling me you forgot something Ginevra or so help me I-" she was interrupted again.

"Mum!" She whined.

"Don't call me that." She said frowning.

"Oh, my darling." Said Mrs. Weasley, grabbing her daughter and pulling her into a hug.

I saw Ginny's annoyed face when she hugged her, but she soon smiled a bit and returned her hug.

"Everything packed Harry?" Asked Remus.

"Wha- Yes," I said.

"I'm not so sure." Said Hermione holding up my wand.

"Oops," I said trying to look innocent.

"I must've left it on my nightstand and forgot to grab it this morning," I said making my way towards Hermione.

"Thanks," I told her.

She nodded with an "I told you so" look in her eyes.

"I swear you're like a mini version of James." Said Sirius, eating his last bite of eggs.

"And Ronald is like a mini version of you, Sirius." Said Hermione giving Ron back his wand as well.

At this, Remus laughed, and got up, saying "That couldn't be more accurate."

Sirius gave him a smug look and then started chuckling himself.

Ron was stuttering and quickly accepted his wand from Hermione.

"Right then." Said Remus, dialing down his laughs, but still holding a smile. "Hermione and I will go first, Ron will come next with his father, Molly can slip in then, Ginny will go with Tonks, and then, -and I hope you won't disappoint- Sirius and Harry will be the last ones." He said looking towards me and Sirius who had found each other and stood there waiting. "Everyone ready?" He asked.
