THE ROOM OF REQUIREMENT- Nicholas Hooper

HARRY POV:

"Antidotes should be easy," Hermione muttered as she flipped through her book and Ron scoffed.

"Says you," Ron muttered quietly.

Hey- at least they're on speaking terms now. I couldn't take another minute of one of them avoiding each other, so I was glad to have them both next to me again.

"Antidotes," I sighed, flipping through my own book.

I reached the page of antidotes, but the half-blood prince couldn't help me too much this time, as only one sentence was written on the page.

"Just shove a bezoar down their throats,"  Was scribbled messily on the margin of the page.

Okay- great. Bezoar. All I had to do was find a bezoar.

I made my way to the supply cabinet where Hermione already was and started to rummage for a bezoar.

"Mandrake leaves are over here if that's what you're looking for," Hermione said to me as she pointed to a drawer next to her.

"No thanks," I said, continuing to rummage through the items in the drawer I had opened.

Hermione gave me a curious look but said nothing as she grabbed few other things and left.

I continued rummaging through the cabinets as everyone else worked on their antidotes, and a few minutes later, I finally found my bezoar.

"Bezoar: A stone from the stomach of a goat."

This was obviously it, so I grabbed it and headed back to Hermione and Ron, who were both stirring in their potions at different paces.

"Slower," Hermione said to Ron who gave her an annoyed smile as he started to stir more gracefully in his cauldron, making the color appear more pleasant, and Ron's smile fading.

"Thanks," Ron muttered quietly.

Hermione looked a bit forced, but she immediately turned her attention back to me.

"What are you using a bezoar for?" She demanded as she stirred in her cauldron at a slower pace.

"It's the antidote I'm using," I replied, ignoring her look that clearly didn't like my ideas anymore.

"Are you kidding?!" Hermione scoffed as Slughorn started checking cauldrons across the room.

"Why would I be kidding?" I asked as Slughorn gave Ron a fake smile while observing his antidote.

"Ah, Ms. Granger, your's is looking great," Slughorn said as he approached me.

When Slughorn approached my empty cauldron, I handed over the bezoar and he just laughed and walked off, earning me a scoff and a glare from Hermione.

After class, I decided to ask Slughorn about the Horcruxes while Hermione said she would do some more research in the library.

"Don't forget about apparition lessons in an hour Harry," Hermione told me as she packed up her stuff.

"I won't," I muttered, pretending like I was packing up, even though I had already finished.

"Don't let Ronald forget," Hermione rolled her eyes as she exited the classroom.

"Honestly- the nerve!" Ron grumbled as he got his stuff and sped out after her.

I waited a few more minutes for everyone else to file out and then started to speak.
