RON'S VICTORY- Nicholas Hooper

HARRY POV:

Today was Gryffindor's first quidditch match against Slytherin. After preparing for a few weeks, I was confident and ready, but Ron looked pale. He was dressed in his quidditch robes and was sitting next to Hermione across from me and Ginny at breakfast.

"You'll do fine Ron," Ginny said as she bit into her toast.

Ron gulped and just got paler. I couldn't use this Ron as a keeper. He would faint before he reached the quidditch pitch.

"You need to eat Ronald," Hermione said, half-scolding him, and half sounding worried.

Ron nodded but didn't touch his plate. I had an idea brewing in my head as Hermione tried to force food into Ron, the boy who loves food.

"Hello, Ron." I heard a dreamy voice says I saw the lion hat that I knew all too well on Luna's head.

"You look dreadful. Is that why you've slipped something into his drink?" Luna asked dreamily, as I slowly tucked the little bottle back in my pocket to seem suspicious.

"What?!" Hermione screeched staring at Luna, then turning her furious gaze towards my pocket, and soon into my eyes.

"Liquid Luck?!" She exclaimed furiously.

Ron stared at all of us in shock, still pale.

"Don't drink it, Ronald!" Hermione exclaimed.

I smirked mischievously and Ginny just simply stared from me to Ron and Hermione, repeating this until Ron straightened up and stared at his cup, a grin slowly starting to appear on his face. Some of the colors slowly started appearing back on his face, and he gulped down the drink as Hermione scoffed.

"Let's go." He exclaimed, standing up and still grinning.

Hermione widened her eyes and soon rolled them. Ginny, on the other hand, was caught in the middle of biting on her toast, and therefore almost choked on it.

"You do know the match starts in half an hour?" She coughed, gasping for air and reaching for her drink.

"And?" Ron exclaimed.

Ginny gave me an amused and bewildered look as Hermione was watching all of us sternly.

"Well, then I guess we'll have to finish breakfast faster." Ginny laughed as she nudged me and went back to her food.

"Oh for goodness sake Ronald," Hermione exclaimed, reaching for him.

"Sit down." She said as she tugged back down next to her.

Ron gave a slight blush but quickly brushed it off, getting up again. This time, Ginny was about to bite on a piece of toast again, but suddenly threw it back on her plate and glared at Ron.

"What now?" She asked him, obviously very annoyed.

"I'm going down to the quidditch pitch," Ron said confidently, standing up.

Ginny scoffed, rolled her eyes, and went back to her toast.

"No." Hermione began, but Ron didn't waste time and started walking out of the Great Hall.

Hermione was surprised, but after a second, she turned to me.

"See what you've done?" She asked, giving me a death stare.

Ginny snickered and Hermione ran after Ron.

"Ron! Wait! You know it's never good to-" She yelled after him, but her yells soon got faint.
