Running Into Old Ex's

Meghan's POV

"Dean?!" This is NOT happening. He can't be here. "How are you?" Is he being serious? I wanted to say seriously? You broke my heart and now after months of not talking to me and finally about to go confront Jake and he shows up. Instead I said," I'm doing good, how are you?" "I'm okay, I guess, I was trying to move away from the craziness that is my life. That is until I bumped into someone I use to know." I was confused," Why are you here?" "Selena and I broke up." Oh, well that was unexpected. "Oh?" "Yeah, I wanted to get away so I moved here. Maybe we could catch up?" I wanted to say no way in hell. "Yeah, sounds good." God dammit. "Is you're number still the same?" "Yeah." He smiled. That smile could've made anyone melt. A while ago it would've made me melt. "I'll see you later." He walked past me and I stood there speechless. I finally got my phone out and called Sam. She picked up at the second ring," Hey Meg, what's up?" "Are you at the apartment?" "Yeah, Jake isn't here if you wanna come by." "Okay, I need to tell you something when I get there."

Charlie's POV

We got done filming after a while. I went to get food when I saw this guy come in. He started talking to Kenny. I went up to them. Kenny saw me," Charlie, I'd like you to meet my new assistant, Dean." "Nice to meet you Charlie." This guy had a good smile. "You too Dean." "Charlie, can you show Dean around set, have him meet a few people, get him set up." I nodded my head. Kenny went to do whatever he needed and I started to show him around. As I was I started a conversation," So, did you move here?" "Yeah, I needed a fresh start so I came here. I actually thought I was getting away from my old life but I ran into my ex." I raised my eyebrow," Oh? How'd that go?" "Surprisingly well, she looked beautiful as always. I thought that she would yell at me. I wasn't the best boyfriend to her. I'm supposed to catch up with her sometime. I just hope we can start over. Maybe we could get back together, I broke up with my ex because I still love her. The only thing is that she looks happy." "Well if you changed then maybe she'll see that and she'll go for you." "Thanks man," i gave him the rest of the tour and we found Owen and Jeremy. "Jeremy, Owen this is Dean, he's gonna be Kenny's new assistant, Dean this is Owen and Jeremy, Owen plays Alex and Jeremy plays Reggie." They shook hands. I heard Kenny yell for Dean. "I guess I better go see what Kenny needs." He left and I got the same feeling I got from Jake. I had no idea why. I don't think they know each other. Owen said," He looks familiar." Jeremy said," Do you know him?" "I just felt like I've seen him somewhere." We got called to set.

Meghan's POV

When I got to the apartment I told Sam what happened from my mom to Dean. "Wow, Meg, that's awesome about your mom, but Dean? What are you gonna do?" I sighed and put my face in my hands," I want to tell him to shove it up his ass but I also want to know what he wants." "Do you still have feelings for him?" I shook my head," No, after I met Charlie and I started dating Jake, I completely forgot about him. I realized something about Jake, unlike me, Jake was never in love with me, yeah he loves me but he's not in love with me. He still loves Lucy, was what he did wrong, yeah, but I need to know the whole story." He came in just in time," Meg?" I got up from the couch and so did Sam. I looked at Sam," Can I talk to Jake alone?" She nodded her head and went to her room, though knowing her, she's probably gonna listen anyway. "Meg..." "Wait. Look what you did was wrong, but I need to know, are you in love with her still? I want the truth." He nodded his head. "I want the story." He started explaining," It started when she came by. We started talking and she was telling me how excited she was about her boyfriend. I was jealous, so after you played that song I kissed you and we got together. I thought that this would be a way to get over her. I started seeing you with Charlie and she texted me on our first day. I didn't want to upset you and my mom was also texting me about my sister so when you asked me why I was distant, I told you it was about my sister but it was more than that. I just left Lucy out. But the day you saw us, we started talking and she wanted to get back together. I was gonna break up with you and wait a little bit to tell you but then you came in and then I realized I screwed up. I'm so sorry Meghan, I never meant to hurt you." I was processing all of it. After a few moments I said," Okay." He looked surprised. "You love her, obviously she loves you. Go after her Jake. I forgive you, I honestly wanted to break up with you that day anyway..." before I could finish that Jake said," Because you're in love with Charlie." I couldn't deny it anymore," Yes, I fell in love with him." "You should go get him then." "One more thing, remember my ex, Dean? Well he's back." "Oh, I'm sorry Meg." "It's fine. Go now, go to her." "We are cool then? You're not quitting the band?" "No, I'm not, but we need to catch up. I have a lot. I'm glad we're friends." "Just friends?" He asked a little cocky. I giggled," Best friends. Now GO!" He left and Sam came out, "I'm so happy for you Meg, now like Jake said, let's go get you the love of you're life." I giggled and we left. When we got there I walked into the studio and I saw Charlie. He was talking to the whole cast. I yelled," Charlie!" They all turned to me and Charlie started walking towards me. I started walking to him and I bumped into someone again. "Sorry, Dean?" Not again. "Oh, Hey Meg." "What are you doing here?" "I got a job as Kenny's assistant." Are you fucking kidding me? "What are you doing here?" "I, uh, I kinda have a part. I play Elena, she's new." Charlie and the rest of the cast were finally around us. Charlie asked me," Megs, do you know him?" I wanted to say no but I saw Charlie's face and I couldn't lie to him," This is Dean, he's, uh, he's my ex." His eyes went wide. I bit my lip.

Charlie's POV

I have another guy to compete with? Seriously? If Megs falls for this guy again, then I have no chance with her. Dean said," So I guess we'll be working with each other, a lot." He smiled. I looked at Sam and she was not happy. Kenny called for Dean again and he left. I heard Owen say," That's where I know him from. He was on Meg's Instagram." All of us looked at him weirdly. "When i followed her, it was one of the top photos. This was when I found out she was gonna be on the show with her band." He did tell me about them. What am I supposed to do?
