Going back home

Meghan's POV

I got on the plane as quickly as I could. The plane was in the air and I felt the tears. I put on some music and the first song was Unsaid Emily.

First things first
we start the scene in reverse
All of the lines rehearsed
Disappeared from my mind

I started to think about the first time I met Charlie at that meeting. I never expected it to change my life forever.

When things got loud
One of us running out
I should have turned around
But I had too much pride

Next I started thinking about when Lucy came over when I still liked Jake. I messaged Charlie on Instagram and I met up with him. I got to know him better.

No time

Didn't get to apologize

I started thinking about my birthday. It was the best one I ever had. I was glad Charlie was there. He made it feel special.

I started thinking about all the days we were filming how Charlie would make me laugh. Also when the band and I sang on stage.

I then thought about the band. How they were my family and how I destroyed that. No, how Dean destroyed that.

I miss him. I miss Charlie. I miss my band. Why did I let Dean back into my life? Sam was right, I shouldn't have trusted him.

Charlie's POV

After Megs broke up with me I drove home. I thought we were doing good. My heart was shatter. I love her. I'd fallen in love with her. I when I got home I went to my room. I texted Madi.

Charlie: Did you get off the plane?

Madi🧡: Yeah I just got home. Why what's up?

Charlie: Do you mind if I call you I need to talk.

Madi🧡: yeah

I called Madi

M: Hey Charlie
C: Hey Madi
I explained what happened
M: I'm so sorry, do you know why she broke up with you?
C:She said that she thought she had feelings for me, but she doesn't.
M: That's so weird, that's definitely not like Meg. I think Jake has something to do with it.
C: I do too.
M:listen I gotta go, my family and I are going to dinner to celebrate season two. I'll talk later.
C:Okay, have fun, love you Mads
M:Love you too, it'll all work out.
I smiled and hung up. I think Koa noticed how sad I am because she was laying on me. I petted her and I felt the tears spill.

Meghan's POV

I finally landed in Louisiana. I had my phone on airplane mode so when I turned it back on I had a bunch of messages from the band. There was also a text from unknown but I know who it is.

Unknown: Good girl. Now you can throw your phone away. I put a new one in your bag. I deleted all of your socials and made you new ones. I also blocked your band and Charlie. I want you to have absolutely no contact with them.

I sighed and found the nearest trash. I went to it and I pretended to throw my phone away. I looked in my bag for the new phone. I found it and saw the text again from him.

Unknown: Now that you have this phone the only person who will be texting you is me.

I put the phone away and I went outside. Since I know that my mom still lives near the airport I decided to walk. I knew that Dean would rather have me be tortured than have me get killed. After 20 minutes I got to my moms and I knocked on the door. My mom opened it. "Hey sweetie, what are you doing here?" I wanted to tell her the truth, how Dean said he'd kill her if I didn't do what he said. Instead I lied," I realized that it was too much, the band, the fans, everything. I just need a break." I hated lying to her. I had to though if I want her to stay alive. She seemed to believe me. She opened the door and I walked in. I asked," Did you do anything to my old room?" She shook her head," No, I was so upset with you that for the longest time that I couldn't even look at your room." "I'm gonna go up there if that's okay with you." "Yeah, I'll call you when dinner's ready, I do have someone that I want you to meet." I smiled. I love my dad, but my mom deserves to be happy. I went to my room to see that I still had a few posters of one direction and drawings. I saw my bed still had the floral print. My mom really didn't come in here. I put my stuff down on the bed and I sat down. I started crying again. I missed my old room, but I really miss my room with Sam. After I stopped crying, I looked out the window. I remember when I use to stare out here after my dad died. Sam was actually the one who got me to go out. I heard my mom call," Megs!" I sighed. That made me think of Charlie. I went downstairs to see a guy. My mom saw me and smiled," Meghan I'd like you to meet my new boyfriend, Ted, Ted, this is my daughter, Meghan." I shook his hand," Nice to meet you." I didn't like this guy. I just had a feeling that he's not exactly good, but my moms happy and I can't ruin that. "Nice to meet you too." My mom said," I have dinner ready now so let's eat." I got my plate ready and had dinner with my mom and Ted. I got to know him a little bit and after dinner I helped clean up. When I was done I went to my room and I was exhausted from today that I fell asleep quickly.
