Chuckling evily to myself I strolled up to Darens big oak front door. His house was like a mansion! I was suprised every time I went went to visit at how castle like it was, it had five floors, huge patterned windows and was made of weathered grey bricks. He found it hilarious that I thought his house was so amazing. When I am like 300 years old I should be able to afford a house similar to his, maybe a bit smaller because if I'm on my own there's not much point having a massive house. Thinking about my dream house I knocked on the door. A second later Daren was opening the door with a grimace on his face, I giggled when I saw his expression which made him scowl even more slamming his front door he asked in a frustrated tone.

"Why do I have to come, dont you have some gay friend to go shopping with?" Dragging him down his garden path I said.

"No I dont have a gay friend yet and you have to come to carry the bags and help me decide on an out fit." His eyebrows in his hair Daren swung round to face me.

"You want ME to help you PICK AN OUT FIT!" He asked incredulesly. Pleased with his reaction I nodded then continued dragging him down the sunny path to the mall, the smell of garlic bread wafted towards me from the pizza hut across the street making my mouth water Daren rolled his eyes. As you became an older vampire you lost your craving for all human food and drinks although Daren refused to tell me his age I knew he must be old because he hates human food, once I dared him to eat a piece of chocolate and when he put it in his mouth he looked as though he was having to eat litter. It was amusing.

I was only eighteen so I hadn't lost my appetite but one thing that had suprised me when I became a vampire is the fact that I still aged. Now I was eighteen I had stopped ageing but until you turned eighteen you seemed resonabley normal, so I had been able to finish school and I was able to go to university! After I have finished University I have to move though. So people don't suspect anything.

Something buzzed in my pocket. Releasing Darens arm I reached into my jean pocket to get it, I pressed accept and held it to my ear as soon as I did I heard a stream of babbling coming through my phone. Alexa was asking if I had a dress yet then saying repeatedley how excited she was about the party, I only managed one word answers to her questions before she started a flow of questions about Daren-who luckily was miles away thinking. After reasuring her that he would be at the party three times I managed to put the phone back in my pocket.

Opening the glass doors of the mall I gestured for Daren to go in first. We went to the first dress shop we saw which was a small untitled cloths shop, inside it were loads of prom dresses which I  looked at but there was nothing I wanted so we went to another shop then another shop then another shop...

By the time we exited the fifth shop I had tried on six diffrent dresses and Daren was looking as though he would happily kill himself than go into another shop. As we entered the sixth shop I pointed to a chair in the corner for Daren to sit on, then I walked to a rack of cocktail dresses, flicking through them I found a red dress and a white dress to try on. Once I had pulled the white dress on I went out of the changing room to show it to Daren. Spinning I said.

"What do you think?" Raising an eyebrow he answered.

"Seriousley?" Stomping back to the changing room I thought well at least he's honest. Which is why I dont go with girls because they would probably pick out an ugly dress for me so I wasn't competition.
