"No fucking way you are!"

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked down at him. "What do you mean?"

Louis scoffed. "Are you crazy?! No fucking way I'm gonna let you through away your whole damn future because of me!"

I sighed as his eyes were now practically bulging out of his head. "You can't tell me what to do anyways, I've already made my decision." I shot back. Louis remained in shock, mouth open at my words.

"Uh, yes I can! Shit, Harry, do you know what that would actually do to your life? To my life? To fucking Liam, Zayn, and Niall's lives? You have to think about that, Harry. The world doesn't revolve around the just two of us—"

"I don't care," I mumbled quietly.

Louis threw his hands up in the air. "You have to care, Harry. Every decision you make, it affects everyone. Keep that in mind."

He took a breath and turned back to the tv. I mumbled under my breath once more.

"All I know is that I love you. And I'm supposed to follow my heart." I said. Louis laughed to himself before sitting up off of the couch.

"Harry, life isn't a fucking romance movie. It doesn't always work out. Sometimes, someone fucks up the relationship and—"

"Oh, so this is all my fault?" I yelled. Louis seemed to shrink smaller, and began to fumble with his hands in regret.

"No. I mean, you didn't even give us a chance, so how could that be your fault?" He said sarcastically, a bit quiet at first with his words becoming more sassy as he spoke. I glared at him.

"Hey, like I said, Louis. You didn't come running after me or anything—"

"Again, Harry! Why would I be expected to! That only happens in movies." He began to leave the room before I got up and grabbed his arm.

I looked into his eyes and took a steady breath. "You leave, I leave with you," I said, fixated on his face. He gazed distantly to the floor.

"I guess," he began shyly, "I guess we both played a part in the falling out.... you know, of us."

Louis turned his head up to me, looking sadly into my eyes. I gave a sorrowful look back.

"Just say the word and I'll pack my bags, and call MacHeath to let him know about my departure." I looked at him deeply, trying to read his confusing expression. My eyes were filled with hope, but his just seemed to be almost.... empty.

"Lou," I turned my head so that his eyes were connected with mine. "Lou, we can get a plane ticket. Take some time for ourselves, go to Italy or something. We could rent a house, or buy one, I don't care. And just... be together. Like we've always wanted."

I rubbed my thumb over Louis' bottom lip, his sad eyes beginning to water. "Louis, just say yes."

He continued to gaze at me, a look of longing and desire in his face. That sweet emotion quickly faded, though, as he lost eye contact once more. His eyes glanced around the room for a minute, worried as if he didn't know the answer already.

Although something had told me that he'd already known the unfortunate answer all along.

Louis finally looked deeply into my eyes once more, fully understanding how much I really was burning inside. He let out a breath, and gave me one last look.

"No," he mumbled and hurried out the door. My hand fell from his, but continued to stay upright in his past presence.

I clicked my tongue and nodded, already knowing that this would be his reaction.
