I still can't believe what my dad wants me to do.

I know my friends can sense that I've been acting weird lately. Lalo na si Yvanna, dahil siya talaga ang iniiwasan ko.

I badly want to protect my friends, but how?

How am I gonna protect them kung 'yung mismong tatay ko ang sisira sa pagkakaibigan namin?

I can't help but cry. Good thing I ran to Kendric all the time whenever I feel down. Hindi niya na ako tinatanong kung anong problema. Hinahayaan niya akong umiyak sa harapan niya. He told me that if I want to open it up, it's okay. If not, it's still okay.

I'm glad that I have this kind of boyfriend. Sana, sana nga, siya na talaga. I wont ask for more. Sana walang hahadlang. Sana walang makakapag-hiwalay saamin, makakapatay ako.

Kahit pamilya ko pa.

"Stop crying, baby. I really don't know what's gotten into you, but, stop crying." he said while wiping my tears away.

Tinulungan ko naman siyang punasan ang sarili kong luha. "Sorry,"

He tilted his head, "Why do you have to apologize? You didn't do anything," he said and kissed my forehead. "I love you. Kung ano man 'yan, nandito lang ako, okay? I'm your knight in shining armor. I'm your shoulder to lean on. Kaya, 'wag ka magso-sorry if you feel bad, okay? It's okay to cry, baby. Mas okay na sa'kin 'yan kaysa ikimkim mo."

I nodded. Lord. What did I do to deserve this man?

I thought everything went smooth. Everything went fine after that. Akala ko lang pala. My dad became worst than usual.

Dad assigned me to a mission. I already told him that I don't have any interest when it comes to this kind of things. Ba't ba hindi nakikinig ang sarili kong tatay sa'kin? 

"Neil," I called out one of our armed man. He looked at me. "Saan ba tayo?"

"Durian Hotel," tipid nitong sagot.

I raised my brow. "What? That place is haunted, ba't naman d'yan?"

"Utos po ng tatay niyo," sagot nito. "Axl has detected that our enemies are spotted there. Kaya doon tayo pupunta."

"Enemies? Sino?"

"Gaumond."

Sila Yvanna?! 

"A man named Lucas was seen while Axl was roaming around. Siya yata ang magu-update sa mga paligid nila. And even the daughter of the business tycoon is around,"

Wait. Lucas, my ex? Nakaka-tangina naman nito, sa totoo lang. Why did I even go to this mission if I can even ditch this shit.

Tangina. Nandito din si Yvanna.

Ayokong gawin ang inutos sa'kin ni daddy. I'm not that evil. I love my friends. Ba't ko naman gagawin 'yon?

"Miss Lincoln!" our armed man shouted when we heard a lot of bullets.

Everything felt unreal. The shot motions, the transition of shots from our armed men to the enemies. I can't imagine that I would see this right in front of my eyes. Para akong nasa isang movie. I don't even want to get our from where I am hiding.  Nakahawak lang ako sa baril.

Tumingala ako at nakita ko si Lucas na nakatingin sa banda namin. Good thing I have a mask on! Ayaw kong makilala nila ako.

Mabuti nalang at walang nasugatan sa mga kasamahan namin. Tho, someone died because of the raining of bullets.

Hindi ba 'yon naka-bulletproof vest? My dad has provided them everything para iwas ganon ah. 

"How's the mission? Napatay mo ba anak ng Gaumond?" bungad ni daddy nung makita niya akong papasok sa bahay.
