Chapter 6

Lukes pov

The boys and I walk back to the studio as it's only around five minutes away.

"Oh I think I left my... um... phone! Yeah my phone that's the one" Reggie says. "I'm gonna go and get it!"

Before anyone can say anything, he has already sprinted off back down the street.

As we're walking, it starts pouring down with rain. "Brooke lives on this street. We could go get some shelter?" I say, mainly because I'm freezing cold, I don't really want to see her right now.

"Okay but you are both staying in the same room as us, at ALL times!" Alex says, chuckling.

We walk past a couple of houses until we get to Brooke's. Her parents are away so she won't mind if we come in.

I walk up to the door and ring the bell. A few moments later an older man answers the door, dressed in a robe.

He probably just a friend who's clothes are soaked from the rain. It's fine, right?

"Can I help you?" The man asks. "Uh actua-" I start. Before I can finish, Brooke comes down the stairs and says "who is it babe".

Babe? Who is this man! I don't think it's fine anymore...

"Oh my- Luke I am so sorry! It is not what it looks like. Please just-" She starts.

How could she! After everything I've done for her, she just goes and cheats on me!

"Don't you dare finish that sentence. I'm not stupid, I can see what's going on here. BROOKE WEST, WE ARE OFFICIALLY OVER!" I yell the last part as loud as I can before I slam the door and run home.

"Luke it will be okay" Bobby says, chasing after me. Eventually he gives up and turns around to walk back to Alex.

Part of me is happy that I have an excuse to break up with her now, but the other part of me is also sad and hurt that she would ever do that to me.

When I get back to the studio, I change out of my wet clothes and then sit down on my couch.

I decide to go through my dms on Instagram. Interacting with fans always makes me feel better.

Eventually I come across a message from Julie asking about breakfast. I assume she sent it earlier.

I feel horrible about what happened at her house. I need to apologise to her.

My phone starts ringing *incoming Instagram call from julie_molina2*

I pick up the phone.

"Hey, thanks for calling"

"Uh yeah hi. What was it that you wanted again?"

"I want to apologise for earlier. I could tell that Brooke was feeling threatened by you and I wanted to prove to her that she was the one I like. I know it was wrong and I really don't expect you to forgive me but please can you try?"

"Luke it's okay, I get it. I've only had one boyfriend before and I would've done almost anything to prove that he was the only one I liked"
