Chapter 16

Julies pov

The anticipation is building up as Luke turns the key.

Wait a minute- He turned the key! We're out of here!

"We did it guys!" I say as we all go around, high-fiving each other.

As we get in the car, Lukes phone starts to ring.

"Luke that's the sixth missed call in the last hour and a half. Maybe you should pick up" I say.

"It's just the press. They probably want to ask questions about Brooke and I. I'm not in the mood for that. Besides, they shouldn't even have my number" he says.

Time skip-2 weeks

Everything is going well. Flynn, the guys and I have been hanging out every day. Everything has died down at school as well, just like we promised.

Alex and I have become a lot closer and Reggie is like the older brother that I never had. Luke on the other hand, our relationship is different. I don't know how, but it is.

Nick has been off school for a while so I've had to practice the dance by myself.

Bobby has started school but he made some other friends and has been quite distant lately.

"Hey guys" I say, walking out of my house and getting in the car.

"Sup Jules" Luke says.

"Get a room you dingdongs. I don't want your slobber all over me" Alex says, talking to Flynn and Reggie.

We all chuckle as we drive off to school.

We get out of the car and Alex runs off to find Bobby.

Flynn and Reggie walk to the music room so that Reggie can show Flynn the song he wrote for her. I feel kind of bad for her. He's not the best songwriter.

That leaves Luke and I.

"Hey Jules, what do you say we take some pics for insta?" He says.

"Sure" I say.

We walk to the back of the school, where the graffiti wall is.

Luke sets his phone down, puts the timer on and runs over to me.

I jump on his back and he falls over, making us both laugh. We try again and luckily he manages to stay stable.

After taking some more photos, we walk to our first class.

Alex's pov
(A/N: I know I don't do outsider povs but I wasn't sure how to do this otherwise so just go with it)

I run around, trying to find Bobby.

Eventually I see him through a small window in a door. He's not the only one in the room though.

I step closer, to get a clearer view and I see the last thing I excepted to see.

Bobby was sat on a chair, with a girl in his lap. They were making out.

He was cheating on me! How could he do this?

Should I burst in there or should I run away?

If I run away, I won't get an explanation.

And with that, I burst in to the room.

Bobby immediately pushes the girl off his lap and looks up.

The look on his face when he realises it's me is heartbreaking.

"Alex I-" he starts.

I cut him off. "Not with her in here. You, out" I say gesturing for the girl to leave.

Once the door is shut, I start my rant.

"HOW COULD YOU BOBBY! I TRUSTED YOU, I OPENED UP TO YOU, I LOVED YOU AND YOU JUST PUSHED ME AWAY SO THAT YOU CAN MAKE OUT WITH RANDOM GIRLS" I yell.

"You love me?" He says.

Shit did I say that? "IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE BECAUSE WE ARE OVER. BOBBY WILSON, I DON'T WANT YOU IN MY LIFE ANYMORE AND IF THAT MEANS I HAVE TO QUIT THE BAND, THEN SO BE IT"

I start crying and run out before I can let him get a word in.

Did that really just happen? I mean, everything I said was true. Did he ever even like me that much? I thought he was full on gay? Has he done this before? So many question are flowing through my mind.

I'm not even processing my surroundings when I walk into Julie.

"Hey Al- Alex are you okay? Are you crying?" She says, hugging me.

I hug her back but it makes me think of Bobby's warm embrace so I quickly pull away.

I pull Julie to the side and explain everything, not that there is much to explain.

"Lex, if you and the guys want, you could stay in my studio. I'm sure my dad wouldn't mind" she says.

"Really juj? Thank you so much!" I say, squeezing her tightly. This time, I don't pull away, I feel safe.

Julies pov

I could kill Bobby. He hurt lex and he still has to go through a whole day of school, pretending everything's alright.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, I look to my right to see Nick walking towards me.

"Hey Molina!" He shouts from across the room.

"Hi" I say awkwardly. "So where've you been? I had to learn the dance by myself"

"Oh yeah, um sorry about that" he says.

"Whatever. Let's just practice"

We practice the dance and everything seems to go fine.

Throughout the whole class, I can't stop thinking about Luke. I think hanging out with him has made him go from a celebrity crush to a real crush. I would never admit it to anyone, but I, Julie Molina, am falling for Luke Patterson.

When dance class is over, Luke runs up to me.

"Hey Jules. Wanna hang out after school? We can practice the dance if you like" he says.

"Sure, sounds good" I say, walking back to my locker.

"So have you guys come up with any new songs?" I ask.

"I haven't showed it to the guys yet but I wrote a song. It's about someone that has become a big part of my life recently" he says.

"Cool! You'll have to show me later".

The rest of the day fly's by like normal. I get all my things and meet Luke outside. Everyone else is walking home.

"Hey Jules" luke says, looking up from his phone. He's been interacting with fans a lot more lately.

We get in the car and drive home, blasting sunset curve music.

As I'm getting out of the car at home, Flynn runs up to me and drags me away.

"Jules you have to help me!" She says.

( A/N: Does anyone know how to stay awake? I've been really tired with school lately and I keep falling asleep whilst writing)
