"Happy birthday AC!"

Skye smiles big towards the camera on her computer, seeing the faces of her team on the screen. The day had finally arrived, the day she had been working towards for so long. A hidden work that had taken her many hours of endless searching the web, not to mention the amount of money she had spent on it all. It was going to be worth it all however once Coulson opens the present from her however. May had taken it with her once she and Leo left last time.

She is wishing she could have been there in person, but her suddenly showing up again only to be gone later on would just raise more questions than it's worth. And then there was the questions about her hair, at least meeting her team like this she can hide it with a towel like the last time. So far there had not been any questions about it.

"You know, you are missing a good cake over here."

"I'm good for now, I would say save me a bit but I'm not sure for how long I will be stuck here."

Seeing how Coulson is about to ask the question, she rolls her eyes.

"Don't even bother."

Skye blinks at this, she had not been the only one that had told him not to ask. Looking towards May and Leo she can see the same surprise in their own eyes, they had all been thinking the same thing and had reacted at the same moment. If it had been anyone else, Skye would find herself worried or even scared over this fact. But this was May and Leo, with the number of things they have been through lately it's not all to surprising. Looking towards the rest of her team she can see their own surprise over what had just happened.

"Alright, since we have established that I can't eat the cake with you all, how about we just let AC open the gifts we all got for him."

Skye says, changing the subject before anyone can ask question about what had just happened. But when the confused faces turn into sheepishly once, she can't help the face palm.

"Please tell me I'm not the only one who got AC a gift for his birthday."

She asks, hopping she wouldn't lose faith in her fellow friends. Seeing how the group looks at one another, Skye loses that hope.

"May gave me hers this morning and Fitz promised his will be done later today."

Coulson answers, at least there is some kind of hope after all. Taking a deep breath, Skye shakes her head.

"Shame on you all."

"What about you then?"

Hunter asks, his arms crossing in the progress. Seeing how he is hopping she herself doesn't have anything so he can call her out for it, Skye starts to smile.

"May."

It was a simple request and May pulls out the small package, it had been hidden so she couldn't see it on the screen which meant none of the others had seen it to. Coulson looks at the package May holds towards him before turning his attention towards the screen once more. With a nod of her head, Coulson takes the package from May and starts to open it up.

A heavy silent was having over them all as they watched, Skye could feel how she was starting to grow worried at the same time as she was excited, which wasn't a good combination. As the warping paper falls to the floor and Coulson opens the brown box, the silent falls into a new type.

Seeing how his eyes grows in disbelief, hands shaking, she's sure she has done the right thing. Being as careful as possible, Coulson picks up the cards from the box, flipping through them all, hands still shaking.

"How did you?"

He asks, never taking his eyes of the signed Captain America cards.

"Well, I heard what happened to you old once and thought you needed a new set. It was hard work tracking down every single one, heck it was easier to get them signed. I just called Hill and asked her if she could somehow managed to lure Captain Rogers into signed them."

She explains, smiling big. Glancing towards Hunter, she can see the defeat in his eyes. The others looked defeated too. Skye wanted to shake her head at this, but decided against it. Now wasn't the time to gloat over her easy win.

"Thank you, Skye, this means a lot."

Coulson finally looks away from the cards to give her an honest and warm smile. Which only ended up hurting her, it wasn't until that moment that she realises just how much she misses him. Had it not been for the silent knock on her door, Skye is sure she would have told him everything in that moment.

"Guys, just hang on a second."

She tells her team, nutting her mic before looking towards her bedroom door.

"Yes?"

She asked, wondering who would be stupid enough to get her attention now. She had told the Avengers she didn't want to be disturb since she would be on a video call with the man that still thinks the Avengers think he's dead. Seeing how the door opens and Maria looks inside, she finds herself relaxing just slightly.

If she were to show up on the camera it wouldn't be all too bad at least. But the former agent stands her place at the door opening.

"I thought I said I didn't want to be interrupt?"

"The Avengers had to head out for a mission, we do need our top hacker ready and active. Because I have a feeling JARVIS still haven't been fixed yet?"

This makes Skye smile, just a few days after May and Leo had left, Tony had locked himself into the basement and had refused to come out. So, Skye decided to hack into JARVIS and shut him and the rest of the house down so Tony couldn't work.

Tony had of course tried to get everything back online again only to fail at that. The only place he could get Jarvis to work was in his suite but even there is JARVIs limited to what he's able to do.

"Let me just wrap this meeting off and I'll join you downstairs."

She tells Maria who nods her head in respond. Quietly sneaking out of Skye's room once more and closes the door behind her. Taking a deep breath, Skye tries to collect herself before turning on the mic once more.

"Well, I need to go. Works calling. I'll contact you later with an update May. I hope you will have a continued good birthday AC and Leo; you better send mi pictures."

She tells them all in one go. May nods her head and Leo makes a thumbs up. Seeing how Coulson is about to protest or ask more questions, Skye quickly ends the call. With a second deep breath, she closes the laptop. Taking of the towel, she stands up and heads for the door.

It's time to make sure the Avengers don't die on her just yet.
