"Well, seeing how this group handles one of their own turning different, I wasn't going to let Skye go through that. I realised that something wasn't right when I managed to fix her watch and I got to see her powers first hand when I confronted her. There was no way I was going to let her stay in a place where she's not safe, so yeah, I changed her test to an old one and made sure to send her back to a place I know she would be safe. With people I know will welcome her back with open arms, a group that will do anything to help her through this hard time, a group that will help her learn more about her new powers."

Leo speaks up, he steps forwards to place himself between the her, the Avengers, Maria and May and the rest of the 616 team. His tone has taken on an edge Skye is sure she hasn't heard before, but from the look of Coulson, Simmons, Hunter, Bobbi and Mack they have heard this tone before and Skye can't help but to wonder when and what they have done to bring forth his anger. Something told her that his anger was the reason why Coulson and Simmons stopped trying to reach her every five seconds the first few days after Maria and Natasha picked her up.

Looking at the Avengers, Skye can see that they are looking at Leo, surprise in their eyes. Happy that she isn't the only one surprised over the anger coming from Leo. Turning her eyes towards May, Skye realises that her SO have moved, looking for her, she sees that May have placed herself beside Leo, one hand on his shoulder to hold him back.

"And here I thought he was angry when he threatened Thor."

Tony comments and Skye rolls her eyes. She can hear how Hunter asks about Leo threatening Thor, the surprise in his, Bobbi's and Mack's eyes are not hard to miss in this moment.

"Oh, please, like he was worse than Maria. She went as far as threat him to let the Hulk do the same thing he had done to Loki."

Clint points out, nudging his elbow into Maria's side and winks, making Maria roll her eyes. Hearing what the blond archer said, Skye lifts her head and looks at Maria.

"Wait, when did you say that?"

She asks, she had no memories over this conversation and deep down she wishes Maria would have gone through with her threat, it would have been quite fun to see Hulk beat up Thor, at least in that moment.

"When you stepped out of the elevator, before you decided to shot yourself."

Maria responds with a serious look and Skye knows very well that she's still not of the hook for that part. And with how she had felt when waking up afterwards, she has been regretting using the ICER gun on herself, but she also knows that if she were to be but into the same situation once more, she would do it again.

"You shot yourself!"

Simmons calls out, only to be ignored like Hunter, but she can feel how part of the 616 team is looking at her out of surprise. As she glances over to the, she can see that Coulson is in deep thought and something told Skye he's not thinking about the last few things that have been said, about Leo and Maria threating Thor or the fact that she had shoot herself. The fact that Coulson didn't seem to react over the fact that she had shot herself in the first place is making her slightly worried.

After how worried had been when Quinn had shot her and what he had done to save her life. Turning her attention towards May, she can see that her SO is having the same worry as herself. Seeing how she pats Leo on his shoulder, the engineer seems to have calmed down enough to realise what is going on around him. As the three of them are looking at one another, they know what is to come next and Skye wish there was another way. Well, she could have told him when she was back at the base, before everything had gone south. She can't deny that she was relented to tell him anything after the bomb he dropped about her having alien DNA.

"Fitz mentioned returning back."

And now Coulson has returned back to the land of the living, his eyes on her as he asks the question. Feeling how she grows tense at the look, Skye doesn't have to look at May and Leo to know that there is no other way. Feeling a hand on her shoulder, she turns her head slightly to the side to see Maria look at her and as she glances around at the other Avengers, seeing that they have seen the change in her, their eyes are narrowed as they look at Coulson.
Taking in a deep breath, Skye forces herself to stay calm.

"I think it's time we have a conversation that should have been had a while back."

She speaks up and all eyes are on her and she can feel herself close up once more.

"In your office now, Leo and Skye with us. Maria, I hope I can trust you with keeping a close eye on the Avengers so that day do not try to hurt anyone?"
May speaks up and Skye feels better at this, having her take control over the situation made things a bit easier.

"Wait! I just remembered something!"

Tony calls out and Skye rolls her eyes as she turns to look at him.

"Now isn't the time Stark."

She tells him, arms crossed and eyes narrowed. Normally, this would be enough for him to stay quiet, but something has the billionaire worked up and he waves his hand, eyes on Leo.

"Her DNA changed, yes?"

"Yes, we have been over this, you've seen all of her paper works and tests."

"So, if her DNA has changed, do we still have to worry about, you know what? Do we still need to keep an eye on her in case of a change?"

A silent fall over the room, Skye looking between Tony and Leo, wondering slightly what they are talking about. As she thinks closer at the conversation, or rather what they do not say in the conversation, she realises what is going on. And now she wishes she had put a stop to Tony.

"I'm not sure."

Leo finally says, and Skye can see how her brother is thinking hard. And the look on Tony's face is the same worry that is now growing inside of her.

"Hearing you say that scares me kid."

"Well, Maria..."

Leo starts to say, turning his attention towards the former deputy director who nods her head.

"I'll make the call, you three can head off to have the conversation with Director Coulson."

Maria tells him and Leo gives her a smile of gratitude. Turning their attention towards May, she nods her head towards the door that will lead them to Coulson's office. As they start to walk, Skye can feel how May places a hand on her shoulder and she can feel some of the tension drain. Tension that builds up when they hear to many footsteps following after them.

Stopping and turning, they can see that Simmons is trying to come along and from the corner of her eyes, Skye can see how May narrows her eyes.

"I thought I said only Coulson."

She speaks, her voice cold and Skye can feel a chill going through her body. She knows very well the anger isn't directed towards her, but she remembers well how it is to be on the receiving end. Looking at Simmons, Skye can see that the Biochemist has somehow forgotten how it feels.

"But..."

Simmons starts to say, only to grow silent as May narrows her eyes.

"We will make sure no one comes near the office Mel."

Natasha speaks up, joining her and May. The red-haired assassin has her arms crossed as she looks at Simmons who now shrinks back. May nods her head towards Natasha before they start to walk once more. May's hand never leaving her shoulder, not even when they enter Coulson's office.

Coulson places himself at his desk, eyes on the three of them.

"Well?"

He asks and Skye takes in a deep breath, oh how she wishes she had allowed May to tell Coulson from the start.
