Fix the sky

On Fury's suggestion, the two of them follows after the Avengers, keeping their distance of course to make sure that no one sees them. Seeing how the Avengers and the 616 team enters the kitchen together, they hold back slightly to let them all enter properly and to make sure neither of them would walk out once more. When no one does, they walk up to the door.

Hearing Skye tell the rest of the 616 team, she leans towards the wall, listening on how she was doing. Hearing how neither Leo, Melinda or any of the Avengers are trying to help her out makes Maria smile slightly. It was good to hear that even if they are creating more problems for her, Skye's voice is light, and she can hear a hint of laugher in it too.

She can feel Fury's eyes on her as he listens to her story and Maria turns her head. She can see something is going on in that head of his, but she also knows it's no use trying to figure him out, no one can get through that head of his.

"Yeah, she has been through quite a lot."

She decides to tell him, keeping her voice low as she speaks, turning her attention back to what is going on inside of the room.

"How much information did you have on her from the start?"

"Not much, only the things Coulson could tell me, she is good at hiding herself."

Hearing this makes Maria smile bigger, not surprised over that fact. They had learned a lot about her during the time she had lived with them. She had also seen Skye's hacking ability up hand after all.

"Well, she's a tough girl and she has grown into one capable agent."

Maria then adds and she can feel how Fury is looking at her once more and she rolls her eyes. Ignoring him for now, she keeps listening to the conversation going on. Hearing how the conversation has turned to the gun wound, Maria steps forwards. Her eyes locks with Skye's for a few seconds and she can see how Skye narrows her eyes. Taking the hint, Maria moves back again, only to see that Fury have followed her, so she pushes him away from the door opening.

Hearing how Skye turn the conversation around, pointing it now towards agents Morse and Mackenzie, she knows it would be time for them to fully enter soon. Leaning towards the wall once more, arms crossed, she waits for the right moment.

"Well, I didn't know you two were talking to Robert Gonzales. That name was given to me from him."

She hears Skye say and taking that as their right que, pushing herself from the wall once more, she and Fury enters the kitchen. The attention in the room turning form agents Morse and Mackenzie towards her and Fury. Seeing the looks in agents Morse and Mackenzie's eyes, Maria starts to smile bigger at this.

"Director Fury?"

Agent Morse somehow managed to get out, her eyes have grown large. She and Fury comes to a stop a few steps away from them all and Maria crosses her arms.

"Agent Morse, agent Mackenzie."

Fury speaks up and Maria can see how the two agent shrinks back. With a glance towards Fury, Maria can see a hint of pride in his eye. She knows fully well how much Fury liked this; she had been around long enough to learn to see the differences in her old boss.

"You, you were killed?"

Agent Morse speaks up and Maria rolls her eyes at this, and she can see the others behind the two accused agents doing the same.

"It was made to look so to get HYDRA out of my organisation."

Fury speaks and Maria can see how Phil rolls his eyes at this, she can also see how Melinda and Skye smiles, however. She can also see the look the Avengers are giving one another at this and she knows fully well how angry they had all been learning the truth.

"Now then, Coulson, my Toolbox."

Fury adds and Phil moves from his spot beside Melinda, walking past agents Morse and Mackenzie and Maria can see how the older agent is trying hard not to look at the two of them. Putting his hand into his jack pocket, he pulls out the small box she had seen Fury work on a few times. Realising this is the Toolbox and the fact that Phil has it now makes Maria wonder how much Fury haven't told her. Yet again, this was Fury she's thinking about, no one was able to figure that mind out after all.

Seeing how Phil hands the small box over to Fury, Maria can see worry shine in agents Morse and Mackenzie's eyes. She can see that they worry what will happen to them now and turning her own eyes towards Skye, she can see that the former hacker is thinking hard about what to do next. Turning her head towards Melinda, she lifts one eyebrow as to ask if the older agent has any idea, but receiving a headshake, Maria grows worried about what could bee going through Skye's mind in this moment.

"Call him here."

She suddenly speaks up and all eyes turns towards her. Seeing how Skye is still in deep thought, Maria starts tow wounder if the younger agent even knows she has been speaking just now.

"You... what?"

Agent Morse asks and this makes Skye lift her head.

"I said call him here, we are ending all of this here and now. I know for a fact that neither of you have been in contact with Gonzales yet, so he doesn't know that I'm back, have powers or that the Avengers are with me."

Skye explains, determination shining in her eyes as she speaks. Turning her head around, Maria looks at Fury and Phil and she can see that the two of them are looking at one another at this. A silent conversation is going down between them before Fury nods his head.

"You heard what Agent Skye said. Call the man."

Fury orders, his eye narrowed as he looks at agent Morse and Mackenzie. Seeing how agent Morse takes out her phone, Maria wonders exactly what Skye have in mind for all of this.
