❀┊ Ch.6: A Bloom of Feelings

"Not again.." Pico said, catching Keith. The crowd of students let out an "aww." Pico blushed and tried to silence them but they just let out a small laugh.

"Oh Pico, you're funny." Darnell said, walking up to him then looking at Keith.

"Yeah yeah whatever."

Pico carried him to the nurse for the second time, he didn't seem to mind at all so he just walked casually to the nurses office.

"Here's him again, he got exhausted that he passed out." Pico sighed as he laid him on the bed.

"Oh! I'll take good care of him, don't worry." The nurse winked at Pico.

Pico exhaled and walked out the door with a hint of blush on his cheek. He put his hands in his pockets and walked to his next class.

'..huh..?'

'Where am i..?' Keith thought as he got up, he looked around to see, his original room?

Keith noticed he was already in Angel form with his uniform for his school at Ansechia. He looked everywhere like a clueless animal, not noticing he bumped into someone familiar.

"Hey buddy!" Someone said, patting keith's head. He looked up to see who was this anonymous person was, it was..

"Dad..?" Keith mumbled.

"Yes?"

"Are you real?" Keith asked, tensing up a bit.

"Why are you asking this? I am real silly!"

Keith's dad soon smiled and saw his mom walk in the room and hug Keith. While she pulls away, she looks at keith's dad with trustworthy eyes and held his hand, they simultaneously looked at Keith and smiled.

"You know we always love you, Keith." They said in unison. They turned and walked away from Keith. Keith's eyes widened and he couldn't move, he extended his arm reaching out for them.

"No.. no.. please don't leave me.." Keith mumbled as he cried softly.

His parents didn't hear a word, they continued walking until keith's vision blurred, he saw a faint figure who looked similar to the demons he met in the past kill them brutally. His vision eventually came back to see, his dead parents.

"No., no.. NO..!"

Keith's then woke up with tears on his face, alerting the nurse.

"Honey, are you okay?" The nurse asked.

"I'm fine.." Keith said getting up and walking to the door.

"Are you sure? You can stay here for a bit longer if you'd like!" The nurse offered.

"Don't worry, i'll be okay." He said, opening the door.

"Alright." She said.

Keith walked out the nurses room, slumping his back. He took out his papers in his pocket for his schedule and saw that he had Science next.

While Keith was walking down the hall, pondering about orange juice, he ran into Cherry who was going to take a quick bathroom break.

"Oh hey Keith! Aren't you supposed to be in class?" Cherry questioned, curious about the thought that Keith isn't in class.

"Well, stuff happened at gym class." Keith simply said.

"Oh, tell me about it later, catch up with class okay?"

"Okay." Keith said as both of them walked away from each other.

He arrived at his class and walked inside without hesitation. Students immediately looked at him, alert that someone opened the door without warning.

"Well hello Keith, please take a seat wherever you'd like." His Science teacher greeted.

He nodded and walked to an empty desk at the back of the room. He didn't see Pico anywhere so that I guess was a relief.

The teacher kept giving lectures and more lectures until the end of the day.

The school bell rang which meant that school was finally over, Keith stood up and stretched before pushing in his chair and walking out the classroom.

Of course, the usual Cherry waiting for him in the distance, he walked up to her which made Cherry look up and smile.

"Hey Keith! How are ya?" Cherry said giving him a good pat on the shoulder.

"I'm doing great!" Keith chuckled.

"Thats nice to hear, now tell me about what happened in gym." Cherry said, switching the topic to Keith's little accident.

"Well, I was playing dodgeball in class.."

"Mhm.."

"Then Pico was the other teams captain and Darnell was my team's captain.."

"Okay.."

"We threw dodgeballs at each other, to the point where I was very tired, it was just Pico and I versing each other.."

"Yeah.."

"I couldn't move anymore so I lost."

"Aww man, well go on.."

"Pico walked up to me casually and asked me if i was okay, since I was barely awake.."

"Oh- okay.."

"Then I passed out, and ended up in the nurses office." Keith finished.

"Oh. Well that was unfortunate." Cherry shrugged.

"Yeah." Keith laughed.

"I have a question.." Keith blurted out.

"Yeah? What is it?" Cherry said, listening closely.

"Since we've finally met each other again after.. more than 10 years, is your parents still alive?" Keith questioned.

"Oh, yeah. They are living here on earth now, they don't think you live near here. I kept it a secret." Cherry smiled.

"How are things going?" Keith asked.

"Well, things are going pretty okay. Although i'm sad because my dad is using me as a prize for a stupid rap battle show called Friday Night Funkin." Cherry sighed.

"Since when did your parents become so modern-like with this world? It seems weird in my opinion."

"Oh, it took them a year to understand when people do in this planet, they seem to enjoy doing that. Although my mom loves standing on cars instead of going inside them, she finds it relaxing." Cherry laughed.

"Wait really? She doesn't fall off when shes on the car?" Keith asked.

"No duh, shes a demon." Cherry said.

"Well true, another thing. Do your parents have a human form?"

"No, if they had one, they'd never use it because they say Its "too fleshy." " Cherry sarcastically said.

Keith laughed, they kept talking about Cherry's parents, they passed by Pico, Nene, and Darnell which caught their attention. Darnell pushed Pico which made him bump into Keith.

"Ow-!" Keith yelled.

Both of them fell over, falling on the cold tile floor which left Pico on top of Keith with his head on Keith's chest, Nene, Cherry, and Darnell gasped at both of them in a oddly cute position.

Other students noticed and started gossiping, some of them, well girls, started squealing with excitement as they saw Pico and Keith on the ground.

"Oh sorry.." Pico apologized as he quickly got up, blushing.

'He felt warm, I wanted to stay on him little more.." Pico thought to himself.

"Its fine.." Keith said, getting up as well and blushing.

The two of them turned around to see their friends smirking at them which made them blush even harder. Keith grabbed Cherry's wrist and ran off with her.

'This is so embarrassing." Keith thought.
