"My head hurts.."

"Ugh— where am I?"

"Is this another dream?"

.

"!!"

Keith slowly opened his eyes to see a few nurses crowding over him. Confused about the situation, the first thing he does is check if his wings were still out. Fortunately they weren't.

"Oh dear, sorry if we startled you— we saw you moving uncomfortably and we thought you were-"

"Miss, i'm alright.. but how long was I out for?" Keith questioned, trying to move his arm but felt a piercing pain.

"Don't move your arm!!— However you've been out for a week and two days. Today is Wednesday." the nurse replied, "it's fortunate that you didn't lose a lot of your blood, and the treatment went well. So you're free to go in a couple of days."

Keith sighed, he started to wonder if his friends were worried, especially Pico. Oh after leaving him behind. He still was frustrated about the situation for a bit but had calmed down. He brushed the thought off and nodded.

"Alright then, thanks."

The other nurses had left the room while one nurse stood there, about to ask Keith another question. His brain was still fuzzy from waking up. It felt like the incident only happened yesterday, but to think that he had been out for so long was surprising for him.

"One last question." The nurse blurted out.

"Are you hungry?"

Keith's eyes shimmered at the thought of food. He was just craving for spaghetti with loads and loads of parmesan cheese. He drooled from the thought of that. The nurse noticed and chuckled.

"I'll take that as a yes, what would you like?"

"Erm- do you have any spaghetti?" Keith hesitatingly asked.

"We sure do, it may not be the best but its what we have!" The nurse said, giving him a sweet smile. She nodded her head and left the room, closing the door. He sighed once again and stared blankly into the ceiling.

"It's gotten so boring." he thought to himself.

"I wish I could see my friends again."

"What if they're worried about me?"

Keith heard a knock on the door, it opened and there was Lila. She put her hand on her mouth in shock and ran towards him.

"Keith.. Keith! Are you feeling okay?" Lila cried.

In the distance, was Skid and Pump walking towards the bed and peeking over to see Keith. Clearly they were all worried for him. Skid hugged Pump and cried, both Pump and Lila reassured him.

"Hey Lila, Skid and Pump. I'm feeling better even though I just woke up." He smiled.

"We were so worried about you!" Skid cried.

"We were bored all day without you being here." Pump frowned.

"We all missed you Keith." Lila said.

"I missed you guys too"

"Oh—! I forgot, your friends told me to bring these gifts to you. They're in school right now so they can't be here." Lila said, placing the gifts on the counter beside the hospital bed. He smiled at the bags. "They will be here in the afternoon however." she added.
