[TW: BLOOD]

He glanced at him once, made a face of hesitation and dashed away. Blending in with the crowd. Pico frowned and just tiredly walked with the crowd to his first class. It was boring. All, boring. His feeling came back, he wanted to beat the living hell out of people, all the shitty things he's done in the past before he came.

Wasn't he just mad at himself? This isn't like him at all, suddenly cold, angry, tired. He thought of the cigarettes he took before, he was definitely in the mood for cigarettes. Keith wouldn't care.. right?

In Science, all Keith did was just look at him with disapointment and ignore him for the rest of class. He even asked the teacher if he could switch seats for the day. He held in his tears the rest of the period.

As he was walking in the halls, a person bumped him which he got furious about.

"Watch where you're going, dimwit." He spat. His old side slowly coming back.

The person stood silent, he looked to his side, it was Keith. He stood there, fidgeting with his hands in fear as he looked at Pico. He took a deep breath and pushed Keith to the wall, as he slightly screamed in pain as his right arm hit the wall, quite hard. Keith gripped his sleeve from his sweater and applied pressure to where his wound was.

The stinging pain made Keith tear up, Pico not caring at this time. He was tired, frustrated.. but deep inside he was truly sorry and kept trying to stop himself.

"Speak when you're spoken to." He said, looking down at Keith. He lifted his head up, staring at Pico dead in the eye. He didn't even realize his arm started bleeding. The blood was going through his sleeve and on his hand.

Pico placed both hands on Keith's shoulder's, gripping them tight. A small blood puddle formed. Keith looked down and made shaky breaths.

"Why." Keith frowned. "What's wrong with you?"

He gritted his teeth and grabbed Pico by the collar with his wounded arm and the roles reversed. He slammed Pico onto the wall, making him hiss. He ignored the 5 second shock, and took a deep breath, still holding Pico's collar.

"What in the living hell is wrong with you?" He cried. Then, he was silent.

"Speak when you're spoken to.. huh?! " Keith mocked, waiting for his response. "Well?"

"You think its alright for you to literally attempt to beat me up in the hallway?" said Keith.

"I-I wasn-"

"Save it." Keith interrupted.

"I had to go through pain, I was asleep for a day. Trying to recover my wounds." Keith shook Pico, he furrowed his eyebrows as Keith did so. "And you? You're making it worse. You opened up my wound."

Keith shook his head. Very hesitant.

"Do you even see the floor right now..?" He said as his voice cracked from crying. Pico looked to his right side, where Keith was before. A puddle of blood.

Another puddle was forming to where Keith was standing now. Dripping.. dripping.

"Let go.." Pico muttered, his heart beating faster as he looked at the bloody sleeve that was holding him. Getting flashbacks.

Keith did as Pico told. He noticed he was getting nervous and uneasy so he hid his arm and calmly he said; "Pico, i'm sorry."

Not knowing what to do in this situation, Keith walked up to him and hugged him, hoping that would work. All in response was nothing. Pico stood there, very still. He wanted to hug him back but he can't, he couldn't. Keith heard his shaky breaths, his heartbeat, and felt his nervousness.

Dripping.. dripping.. dripping.

"It's okay, Pico." Keith muttered.

In the hallways, was silence. Just the two of them. All the classrooms emptied, not used for the rest of the day.

"Get..away.." Pico whispered. Trembling in fear. Keith shook his head, still hugging him but also shaking. He held in his screams, due to the intense pain he's feeling.

On Pico's side, his mind was blank, although filled with darkness. School.. the school. The shooting. His past.

His hallucination..

He felt an eerie voice whisper to him;

"Do it already, Prico."

He pushed Keith to the ground, on the other side of the hallway. Immediately taking out his gun and pointing it at Keith. Taking heavy, shaky breaths as he looked at Keith in fear.

"Pic-"

"Shut up, C-Cassandra.." He cried.

Keith heard footsteps, around two people approaching on one end of the hallway. Hoping he could be helped in the situation.

"Pico P-Pleas-"

"SHUT UP."

"Dude, Pico!" A familiar voice shouted, the man tackled Pico down and the other person took his gun.

The girl walked up to Keith and helped him up.

"I'm sorry you had to see Pico like this, Keith." The girl said, who appeared to be Nene. Keith was still hiding his arm, he secretly used his magic to make the blood on the floor and on his sleeve not visible to them, only him.

"If I didn't tell you already, he had a past.. or, we. He was most affected by it." Nene said. "It was a shooting, did you do anything that triggered him?"

"I.. I don't know." He stuttered.

"It's alright. Also I'm glad you're okay." She smiled.

They watched Darnell stand Pico up and apologize to him before comforting him. He told him positive things. Usually he was the one that was good at handling Pico during his triggers. He was however, not so gentle with him.

"Pico.. you'll be alright. Snap out of it." Darnell said, holding Pico's shoulders.

By then, Pico calmed down. He walked up to Keith, who was still hiding his arm. He didn't suspect anything about it. Although he noticed the blood was gone. He just thought he was hallucinating.

"Keith.. I'm so sorry. A-Are you okay..?"

All Keith did was laugh and hug Pico again, putting all his trust in him. Pico chuckled and hugged him back gently. Nene and Darnell cooed, making Pico flustered.

"I forgive you.. you're lucky I love you." He said, surprising Nene and Darnell. "I'm completely fine..!" He played along.

"You guys are dating?!!" Nene screeched.

"I think we forgot to tell you guys.." Pico chuckled.

Keith played along, still happy as ever. He was relieved that Pico was now okay, no longer suffering from what triggered him. It all mattered that he was with him. Happy and safe.. but.. he was missing the safe part.

He became more pale, losing too much blood. A foolish action he had done. His arm still hurt, he could barely staw awake. He grew weaker.. and weaker.

Dripping.. dripping..

In Keith's point of view, there was too much blood on the ground. He couldn't hold the spell for longer.

He let go and looked at Pico, holding his cheek with his left hand, a confused expression on his face.

"I'm.. sorry." Keith said, as Pico noticed his face was pale.

The blood on the ground glitched back, surprising Pico, and the others. His sleeve, and his right hand was all bloody.

"I'm.. so sorry.. Pico." He said, before collapsing in his arms.
