We lay on a chill facing the sun. The sun was setting and my best mate, Schlatt was laying with me. We were both still in our suits and couldn't bother changing. My eye was still fucked up, but hey, laughing together just.. Thinking so foggy.. Is what matterd. I wish I had thanked schlatt for letting me co-own schlattcoin, but that didn't matter now as we were together, so tiredly. I could sit here forever and watch the sunset, but it was already down. Schlatt was drinking, but I personally don't like alcohol. My mind got fuzzier and fuzzier until I just passed out.

 "Hey Connor?"

 " Yeah? "

 "I think I'm gonna go visit this new place called the dream smp. Wilbur invited me to help him in a dumb election, he said I'm a great business man or whatever."

 " Oh. Um okay do you know when you'll be back? "

 "Uhh in a month maybe?"

 " Have fun, schlatt.. Remember not to drink.. Please"

 "Yeah yeah bye Connie, I'll miss you"

 " Hah I'll miss you too "

Schlatt had a bad drinking habit. He'd constantly due so to forget all of his problems. It had gotten so bad I had Ty distance from him when he he'd do so. At least when Schlatt left I saw him put the bow on his horn. Ty made him that a year ago. It was more so a ribbon, but who cares.

It's been months and schlatt hadn't come back. Eh fuck it I'll go see where he's living it up at. I remember him having two maps so why not follow? I told Ty where I was going and I'll be back soon and if I'm not he should contact me. Now to this "great" place schlatts staying at.

When I got here the first thing I saw was a blown up town..I think. There was a massive carator in the ground. I was greeted by a large group of people, some who I recognize like Technoblade, my partner in a hunger games like challenge. Tommy, some British kid who's my friend, and more. They looked happy but devastated at the same time. They might know where schlatt is.

 "CONNOR!"

 " Tommy? Hey Tommy that's great, but do you know where schlatt is? He left months ago and me and Ty are worr-"

 "I'm glad schlatts fucking dead. He was nothing but a prick"

 " Youre kidding..right? "

I looked at everyone. Techno looked like he shown a sadness

 "Unfortunately no, Connor.. Schlatt died."

 " Techno man please tell me they are lying! "

"Connor.. I know that he ment a lot to you."

I broke. I was crying and badly.

"Connor, mate why are you crying schlatt was nothing but an asshole."

" Yeah! He hurt me, tubbo, he exiled Tommy and wil-"

"That's not the schlatt I know!"

I snapped at Quackity 

" H-how did he even die? "

"We found him drinking and working out. He then died of a heart attack."

" He promised. He promised. "

I ran off. Tommy and Tubbo came after me along with techno and Quackity. I hated this. No no. Techno doesn't lie techno doesn't lie. He's actually dead.

I sat in a bit of forest. Crying. 

"He promised me and Ty he promised." 

" He promised that we'd be forever.. "

I lay alone on this hill. The sun was setting. Old memories would flash back of us. Heh.. Scamming people was fun. All my memories seemed like they faded away. I was having trouble remembering his voice.. His face.. I'm having trouble remembering him. I felt guilty saying that'd I would never forget him, but it seems I have. Techno gave Tys bow and said schlatt had worn it. I felt tears build up. 

He said that I would never be alone. 

I was the one who left him.

I'm sorry, schlatt.. I've failed you.
