No One's P.O.V:

"Our main threat is DJ Octavio of course." Drake whispered. "I forgot who, but someone mentioned you guys had captured him temporarily. He got out of your grasp I assume."

The agents all stayed silent, embarrassed to admit that that indeed had happened. It was assumed he was the mastermind behind this entire Great Turf War after all. Who else could've planned this?

"That slippery octopus..." Marie cursed.

"My question is..why not just splat him when you guys clearly had the chance?"

"W..Well, I'm sure that even after all the trouble he's caused, Gramps wouldn't have liked us to just splat him.." Callie stuttered a bit.

"And why?"

"Here wait," Isabel interrupted, stepping away as everyone watched her in anticipation. "I remember Sarah finding a sunken scroll about this.."

She went through her phone, since Sarah couldn't keep the actual scrolls, she took pictures of them and shared them with Isabel. "Here."

Drake took the phone and took a look:

"So, that's Cap'n Cuttlefish...He's your gramps 1 and 2?"

"Correct." The Squid Sisters said in unison. Marie continued, "They seemed to have been acquaintances in the past and we're sure that he doesn't want us to splat him now."

"That explains why you just captured him. Though maybe his defeat would release all the octolings from their brainwash."

Callie glanced up in surprise. "You really think so?"

"It's possible." Drake shrugged, "But it's not one hundred percent."

Marie wasn't sure as to what to do now. Splatting Octavio is something they were prevented from doing because Gramps didn't want it. But if they did it, there's a chance the enslaved octolings will learn what freedom is...

"Let's do it." Marie stated coldly.

"Do what Marie..?" Jake asked.

"Let's find DJ Octavio, splat him once and for all. I just want to finish this."

Agent 8's (Mike's) P.O.V:

Sarah led us through several of the severely damaged buildings in this Inkopolis battlefield. It was scary because it looked like they were ready to collapse in on themselves, and who knows, maybe it will.

"This way," She whispered heading through another doorway of what seemed like an office building. We were only on the first floor, and even thought they didn't want to move forward any longer, the remainder of our platoon continued behind us.

Sarah's expression had a mixture of different emotions. Fear, determination, anger, sadness all swirled up into a single look. Honestly, it reminded of when we first met. She looked so serious and focused. I was proud of her for how strong she had gotten to say the least. I'm still worried myself about the outcome of this whole operation.

"Hey, do you think we've been spotted going through the sides here?" One of the inkling soldiers behind me asked. I faced towards him and shook my head no. "From what I know, no. As long as we keep a low profile, we won't be spotted and we'll be successful."

Sarah hesitated for a moment after walking for a couple more minutes and stuck her arm out, letting us know to stop moving.

"We passed the enemies' frontline and made it behind them, we'll be commencing the attack soon on my command." I noticed Sarah's jaw tighten as she spoke the words. "I can see several chargers and splat brellas in the back. The rest must be heading towards our soldiers. If we can take out the back, we'll be successful and can win this battle. This will certainly change the tide of the battle in a major way."

Agent 3's (Sarah's) P.O.V:

Surprisingly enough, I could hear my heartbeat echo through my head even through all the shooting and blasting.

I peeked through one of the shattered windows to see if I can spot their biggest weak spot and where we should attack to have a greater chance of success and less casualties. I turned over to Mike, who was trying to see as well, "Any updates with Agent 5 and 6? Did they manage to turn on the respawn points?"

Mike shook his head no once again. "I haven't gotten anything on that operation. It'll probably take longer since Marina has to temporarily enhance it so that it'll be able to respawn soldiers from further distances.."

He was right, it would take a lot longer than we initially thought it would. I turned back around to look outside to see if anything had changed in the Octarian's position. Luckily, it hasn't. Once the time was right, I turned back around to the soldiers behind me and gestured for the go ahead.

"Use that inner rage and fight for those comrades who have fallen! Take your revenge!" I exclaimed, quickly super jumping myself to the blind spots of the chargers, who were still attempting to take out some of our men. Before soaring through the sky, I had quickly spotted Mike super jumping right next to me.

Breaking through the building window, Mike and I stood back to back, and quickly took out the surprised chargers with out weapons. A quick glance out the window confirmed that the rest of the platoon was able to successfully catch the rest of the Octarians off guard. It gave me a weird type of reassurance, I was glad, yet we were still fighting for our lives.

"I'll take the rest upstairs," Mike stated, resting a hand on my shoulder briefly. "I counted about ten other chargers above us, all using some sort of Splatterscopes. You can take the rest of the chargers and the few brella users below us."

I didn't hesitate and nodded to his statement. Before I knew it, my legs took off before my mind could catch up.

"Please be careful!" I called back to Mike, who just so happened to exclaim the same thing back to me.

My steps echoed in the stairway as I headed down to locate the remaining chargers and brella users.
