Agent 3's (Sarah's) P.O.V:

Mike and I, including Isabel and Jake, turned around, startled from the yell. It was one of the inklings we were taking to shelter.

"They're coming here.." Mike whispered softly, looking up at the sky. "Everyone! Run and hide together! We'll find you after!" The innocent inklings, all scared, nodded and ran together in a horde.

I looked up myself, staring at the Inkopolis sky. However, there were about five different pink trails soaring through the sky, now landing right behind us.

I gripped my Splattershot Pro, getting read to open fire. Mike readied his roller, also ready to attack if anything happens. Jake stood beside me, already aiming his blaster toward the splash of ink in front of us. Isabel in the front with Mike since they were more close combat fighters.

"Five Octarians..." Jake muttered, frowning uncertainly as they began to take form from their octopus form.

"It's the Splatoon." Octarian 1 stated, talking into what I believe were their communication devices.

"Calling for backup." The second one stated.

"You're crazy thinking I'm going to let you do that!" I exclaimed, now charging forward opening fire and spraying ink at my opponent. Mike and Isabel charged forward as well, while Jake opened fire behind me.

The Octarians were surprisingly quick however. They managed to dodge all of our attacks without getting a single a scratch on them. Quickly, they all managed to super jump to a nearby roof.

"We can't let them call backup, so I'll rush them up there." Mike stated, turning into his octopus form to get ready to super jump towards them.

I quickly grabbed him in my arms before he jumped away. "Stop being so reckless Mike!" I yelled at him. "You'll get splatted!"

"But we can't let them call for-!"

"It's too late!" Isabel yelled too, now pointing at the sky again. Mike and I looked back up and saw way more Octarians super jumping to us.

A few of them landed in front of us, the front line have rollers and octobrushes. Others having Octoshots. Two or three chargers on different roofs. The original five all having Octoshots as well.

"Let's get out of here!" I exclaimed, still holding Mike in my arms (who was struggling to get out).

Before I knew it, they opened fire at us.

Ink sprayed and splashed everywhere as we desperately tried to get away. I sprayed the floor ahead of me with ink as the others followed. Mike made a second trail with vertical swings, easily making a path for all of us.

"In here!" I called out, throwing open a door to a building around the corner. The others quickly followed and hiding behind the counter.

Before I knew it, I realized we were in the cafe right next to the tower.

"Is everyone here?" Isabel asked. I nodded quickly without hesitation before she once again placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Where's Mike?"

My eyes widened as I quickly turned around to find him.

"WHERE'D YOU GO?!"

Agent 8's (Mike's) P.O.V:

I continued to create the path on the city's sidewalks, trying to mislead the Octarians away from the others. Though I could still hear them not too far behind me, I continued to do what I was doing.

The ink trail I had created led through some of Inkopolis' streets that were remained untouched, and I quickly hid in a very small puddle of ink. I don't know how I fit, but I did. Without a doubt, the Octarians were left confused, looking around and searching for me and the other Agents.

Slowly, without making any visual splashing, I swam back down my ink trail, trying my hardest not to reveal my position yet.

After maybe one or two minutes of traveling through the ink and away from the confused Octarians, I popped out with my roller in hand. My plan was successful.

I opened the door to the cafe Sarah and the others had ran into. Slowly, I could see her green hair rising from the counter and revealing her beautiful face.

"Hey Sarah," I smiled at her from ear to ear, my face getting a bit warm.

She walked up to me and frowned.

"What the hell Mike. I thought I told you to come here with us. It would've been a lot safer if you have. You worried me sick!"

"H-Hey now..I'm back in one piece, I'm okay! I just led the other Octarians away from us."

Sarah shook her head in disapproval and began turning around. Quickly, I grabbed her shoulder and spun her around so that she was facing me again. She stared at me with a serious look, clearly not amused with my little stunt. I tried giving her a happy grin and even lean in for a kiss, but after a millisecond of our lips connecting, she had pushed me back.

"Leave me alone." Sarah mumbled softly before turning around and sitting with Jake and Isabel behind the cafe counter.

I stood there for a moment, confused as to what I did, and carefully placed my roller against the wall.

I walked over to Sarah and tried to wrap my arm around her, but she kinda..shrugged it off.

I felt bad, but I'll apologize the moment I get to do so and make things right again.

A.N. Hey, it's been a long time!

I'll just say this: I've been having less and less time to do the things I want to do because of the absurd amount of online school homework!

But ye here's another chapter!
