Agent 3's (Sarah's) P.O.V:

"Why are you so worried...?" I sighed, now concerned with what Mike had to say about this. "We won no? Isn't that something to be happy about..?" There was some feedback coming from the headpiece before Mike's voice came through again. "Well, yes but no. Although we won, something seems off. I was attacked by an Octarian up here, an elite one I believe, and she got the better of me. The only reason I'm here still talking with you is because the Octarian had spared my life, if not, I would've been splatted not long ago."

"A..Are you okay..?" I sat up quickly, positioning myself in such a way that made it look like I was about to get up and run to him. He responded saying he was fine, that he only had minor burns from the ink. Shaking my head, I stood up slowly. A brief beep like noise came, and it seemed as if the red sparks of broken armor were absorbed by my body. "It regenerated.."

I had asked where he was so that I could go with him, and he had stated he was on the roof. So I made my way back up there, ignoring the annoying stinging pain in my arm. Any subtle movement from my arms seemed to irritate the burn. Mike also said that he wanted to explain something important while we were up there.

Agent 8's (Mike's) P.O.V:

I had rested my back up against the roof wall border thing as I waited for Sarah. The concrete short wall that prevented one from falling over unless you were dumb enough to somehow get over it. I checked myself for anything serious, the only thing I had was very small burns on my arms and legs with a bruise forming on my chest from the stomp I was given.

My roller rested against the previously mentioned wall next to me. The bruise kind of hurt whenever my chest expanded to breathe, but it was something I could shrug off for the most part. I pushed myself up with my hands, and stared off into the distance to the battlefield. A lot of inklings were being rounded up, and were beginning to head back, some heading the opposite way. The streets were covered completely ink, like some sort of twisted piece of art. One that costed lives anyways.

I heard a loud zip noise in the sky behind me and without hesitation, I had quickly grabbed my roller and turned back to face whatever the noise was. I had noticed that someone was super jumping to me, though I couldn't identify who it was.

With a splash of dark purple ink, I had charged forward without taking a moment to see who it was.

"Whoa whoa! It's me Agent 8!"

I stopped and stared, it was Callie.

"Ah, haha...Sorry about that," I chuckled tiredly, scratching the back of my head. "I thought you were an Octarian..." She grinned happily before nodding understandingly. "I heard we won here," Callie mentioned as she stepped closer to me. "Y..Yeah we did, it's just...I think they're planning something.."

"You're hurt," Callie pointed to my arm with one hand, while the other held my hand up (which also raised my entire arm). "You have all these little burns...were you fighting someone tough?" I stared at her for a second, ignoring the fact that she had ignored what I said. "Y..Yeah, an elite Octarian. She was tough, I almost lost my life." Her eyes showed signs of worry as she examined my arm. I found it strange though, she's been awfully touchy around me...That time when we were all together too. Agent 1 got awfully close.

"I'm glad your safe..!" Callie exclaimed energetically with a relieved look. I noticed a light blush, "Don't tell me..?" I cut my own thought off before I finished it since there were more important things to worry about right now. "Look-" I started.

"We should head back," Callie smiled, resting both her hands awkwardly on my chest, giving me a wince of pain. However, Agent 1 had heard my shark exhale and asked what was wrong. I had to explain another injury once again.

"Let me take a look at it," Callie murmured with a fake focused face, and before I knew it she had unzipped my Hero Suit's hoodie, revealing my chest. Ignoring the concerningly big dark spot forming there, I attempted to stop Callie. I could feel my face heating up from the embarrassment. Yet, she stared, frozen, but not frozen with her face heating up. Even the tips of her ears burned up. I immediately snatched her wrist as I tried to knock some sense into her.

"Callie, liste-"

"What the hell is going on here?"

Agent 3's (Sarah's) P.O.V:

I immediately noticed what was going on and my stare deepened. I felt my face begin to warm up as Callie quickly shoved herself off of Mike, who had his chest exposed for some reason. Agent 1's face was completely flustered as Mike's expression was nothing more than shocked and embarrassed.

"S..Sarah! It's not what it looks like!' The pair said in unison before me. Mike hastily zipped up his suit in an effort to hide his chest. "I promise!" Mike pleaded.

Silence fell over the three of us, both Callie and Mike staring at me anxiously, awaiting for what I had to say. My insides felt tense, and my heart began pumping blood angrily throughout my body. However, I find it pretty easy to exert this anger in a calm way, "Explain."

Agent 8's (Mike's) P.O.V:

Cursing in my head, I cleared my throat and approached her slowly. "You see, I was up here waiting for you an-"

"I was only checking his injuries!" Agent 1 exclaimed, her face tomato red. "It wasn't anything weird!"

"Agent 1, please stop interrupting me!" I pleaded, before noticing Sarah's frown intensify. Her arms crossed over each other and she raised an eyebrow. This inkling was giving an intense aura, it was giving me goosebumps.

"I was only-" I started again, before Sarah extended her palm forward, motioning me to stop.

"I changed my mind. I really don't want to hear it from either of you."

I let out a sigh of defeat, and tried to give her a hug. However, both of my arms were shoved down, having my embrace denied by her. My stomach sank, both saddened and anxious. My expression went to an upset look as I stared at her frown. Her eyes didn't sparkle or anything as they usually did. "I'm screwed..." Were the only words that crossed my mind.

Silence fell upon the three of us. Sarah staring us down, me looking at her in an apologetic way, and Callie staring down at her feet, embarrassed.

"Just tell me what you wanted to explain to me before." Sarah stated coldly.

Clearing my throat once again, I started, "When I was battling the Oc-"

"Agents 1, 3, 4, 7 and 8! Any soldier that can hear this, please head towards the Western part of Inkopolis! Our troops are being overwhelmed by a massive number of Octarians!"

All three of us froze up, processing what we were told.

"It's a massive push, hundreds of Octarians reported. Buffed Octoweapons have been reported as well!"

As Marie finished the sentence, lots of loud machinery, booms, explosions and even stingray noises, echoed through the Inkopolis streets. From the western side, just like Agent 2 had stated.

"DJ Octavio is here! We're bringing him down at all costs!"

Interrupted once again.

~End of Transmission~

~

A.N. Will the tension between the trio end? Will Sarah and Mike's relationship hang by a thread? What of the other Agents? Will the massive wave be taken care of? Will Inkopolis stay intact or remain in ruins?

Will our heroes be successful?

As the finale begins...I have lots planned for this! Maybe even showcase the other Agents more >:)
