"T-That should be the last of them," Y/n huffed and gasped for breath as she barely defeated another camp of hilicurl.

It was a rough time in Wolvendom, there were way more Hilicurls than normal. Many of them seemed to have set up came alarmingly close to Mondstadt. Does this have to do with the evolution theory Albedo was talking about? As Y/n continued to wonder, she was swiftly interrupted by a cruel laugh.

Y/n gasped as she turned the source to see it was not just one, but 2 abyss mages. Y/n weighed her options as the mages slowly closed in on her. She didn't have the strength currently to face a mage, let alone two.

With no other choice, she quickly ran deeper into the forest. Sadly the Mages weren't going to let this doctor escape them easily. They quickly chased after her as she weaved through the trees as flames and ice flew past her, flames licked the ends of her hair and clothes.

As she ran she quickly noticed the cliff ahead of her, the light of the setting was almost blinding. Reading her glider she dashed full-on towards the cliff. She spread her wings and glided on the wind, she turned towards the winery only for an ice shard to strike her shoulder.

"AAAH!" Y/n cried in pain as she fell to the ground with a hard thump. The wet sand beneath her barely did any cushioning.

"This is the end of the line for you," The ice mage cackled as they readied the final blow.

"Y/N!!" a voice shouted. " Duck!"

Y/n quickly listened and laid as low to the ground as she could, as a phoenix flew right past her and towards the mages. The flames engulfed the abyssal mages, making quick work of them as they turned to ash. You know there were some days Y/n wished she had a vision too, sadly she was not a part of the lucky bunch.

"Are you alright Y/n?" A familiar redhead asked.

"You came to my rescue so I'm good," Y/n smiled,  she yelps in shcok as Diluc picked up her up bridal style.

"Let's get you back to the winery," Diluc sighed.

"Thanks for the bandages," Y/n smiled as the maid finished up her work.

The maid nodded with a smile and quickly made her way out of the room as Master Diluc came into the room.

"Thank you for coming to my rescue master Diluc," Y/n smiled bashfully.

"You're lucky that was out on a stroll when I was. What were you doing out there all by yourself?" Diluc asked with a stern voice, but his eyes showed great worry as he knelt to her level. " And I've told you in private just Diluc is fine."

"Just gathering supplies, and ran into some trouble," Y/n said shyly.

"I thought I told you to be careful when traveling by yourself," Diluc sighed," I'm surprised that Kaeya didn't insist on accompanying you."

"Sorry for making you worry Diluc, I'll get going I guess," Y/n said as tried to leave the room.

But she was quickly scooped up by Diluc, as he sighed with a shake of his head. " I don't think so. It's dark and Hilicurl attacks have been on the rise. I wouldn't in good conscience to send you out after your recent attack. So why don't you stay the night," Diluc suggested?
