R I O N ASchool went on the usual way, I stayed on my own and didn't talk to anyone and it was finally one more class till the end of school for the day and boy was I grateful.
I just want to go home, eat and take a warm bath.
I took a seat in the second row and brought my glasses to the bridge of my nose.
I took out my phone and brought up Lia's name.
Lia, should we go out lunch or do you have plans?
I clicked on send and dropped my phone on my desk after I sighed.
I feel like I forgot to do something important yesterday but I couldn't exactly place my finger on it.
My phone buzzed and I immediately picked it up thinking it was Thalia but frowned when I saw an unfamiliar person's number.
I opened the message so I could read the content of the message but frowned upon doing so.
It was a message from an unknown number, the number looked oddly familiar to the weird guy that called me last night.
Unknown: turn around.
What's that? A command? Like hell I'd do that.
I shook my head and placed my phone on the desk in front of me, but it buzzed again.
Lia: I'd love it if we could have lunch at home after picking the girls up.
A smile creeped into my lips.
I'll be at the car Immediately the bell goes off.
I clicked on send and Immediately changed to delivered and then typing.
Lia: I'll be there too girl!
I looked at the time and it was almost time to close but the teacher hadn't showed up yet.
I don't think he's going to come, I mean it's already five minutes till the final bell of the day goes off anyway.
I placed an alarm on my phone for when the bell would go off then plugged in my earphones and selected a personally made playlist to play on for me.
The title of my playlist was Bored. It's a playlist that always keeps me hyped when my day has been boring, just like this one.
It was a combination of songs from Megan thee stallion, Rihanna and Ed Sheeran. My three musketeers. These three artists are my absolute favorites.
In the middle of my music, my alarm sounded loudly in my earphones. I unplugged it and started packing my books into my school bag.
"Don't you reply texts?" A familiar annoying voice questioned.
I heard him ask but I didn't reply, my head still focusing on my backpack. From my senses, I realized he wasn't there alone and if my calculations are correct, his friend Leo must also be with him.
"You texted her?" A deep but also familiar voice questioned but I still didn't answer.
I took my bag and got up from my seat ready to walk out on both of them.
"We even spoke over the phone." Keith murmured.
" Riona, I thought we were going to start our project early as soon as today even but you didn't let me know." Leonardo openly said and I stopped in my tracks.
Shit! I knew I was forgetting something! I forgot to text him last night.
Was he really waiting for me to text him last night? Nah, not possible.
"Can we talk in private?" I asked Leonardo while darting my eyes at Keith.
"Damn! You both don't have to stare at me like that, I'll wait outside." Keith frowned and raised his hand in surrender before leaving us in the classroom.
"It totally slipped my mind that I was supposed to text you so we could make plans for today." I started explaining. " I was occupied last night but I'm kinda busy today so I don't think we can go anywhere today."
" You're busy? Okay then." He lowered his eyes and slightly frowned. "I'll get going then." He pushed away his frown and replaced a smile and he walked away.
Why do I feel bad? I shouldn't!
"Wait!" I called out to him and he turned around to meet my eyes.
Why did you tell him to wait? Don't do what you're thinking Riona!
"I actually just wanted to have a relaxing evening with my siblings but I guess we could make it our first stop? Besides I never go anywhere anyway." I offered and I mentally face palm myself.
Ah! This idiot did what she was thinking.
" Whatever's comfortable for you is fine by me. I don't know your house though." He replied in a satisfied tone.
" I'll text it to you." I say back to him but he only looked me questionly.
" I promise! I will text it to you." I assured him with a smile.
Wait why are you smiling?!
" I'll see you later then." He gave me a sweet smile before walking away.
After he exited the classroom, I took a seat in one of the empty chairs. My heart isn't that weak that I would feel bad for not texting a person, a boy even! So why did I ask to talk to him in private? Isn't that what I didn't want?
"No, no, no. Stop it." I said aloud to myself and vigorously shook my head. "I shouldn't think about it too much, maybe my period is near and that's why I'm feeling this way." I assured myself.
I got up from the chair and I felt a vibration from my phone. I took it out and I saw several messages from Thalia. It's been thirty minutes since we closed for the day, shit.
As I hurried out of the classroom, Keith jumped out in front of me.
"What the hell dude?!" I hissed at him angrily.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
" Then get the hell out of my way idiot!" I tried to push him away but he had a strong grip on my arm.
"Calm down feisty pants." He whispered pulling me closer to him.
I was well trained and as such I had perfect stamina, for this guy to be able to pull me so effortlessly, he has to be well trained.
My green eyes looked up to meet his ocean blue ones and this idiot had the nerve to be wearing a smirk.
"Let me go." I demanded, pulling myself away from him but he still managed to hold me firm.
"Why are you so aggressive? The more aggressive you are, I more I like you." He whispered to me, his hot breath fanning my face. Our eyes not leaving each other's for a second.
I wore a confused look. "What?"
"You can leave, I just wanted to check out something." He loosened his grip on me and I could finally break free.
"You're such a weirdo, stay the fuck away from me." I warned before running out of the empty hallway.
