Ravn was the first to wake up that morning. Some light shone through the windows, casting shadows in certain parts of the room, no signs of storms in the area, yet the sun still hasn't shown itself. He stayed there for a few moments with his head against the wall, just sitting and enjoying the silence, no matter how eerie it actually is. They are in the middle of a once lively city and not a single car could be heard, nor the bustling of life in the streets below.
Eventually his gaze moved from the mural to the small boy cuddled against him. Ravn admired his features, though he hated to see how skinny he had gotten. He hated to see Hwanwoong's cheek fat disappearing and how frail his arms were starting to look. He ran a had through Hwanwoong's hair, his dark roots already showing through the blond dye.
He forced himself to look away from the boy and to the rest of his friends, realizing how miserable they all look. Seoho and Keonhee both were loosing their cheek fat as well, and Keonhee almost looked sick with how pale he seemed to be getting. Seoho's waist looked unhealthily small, which was seen because of his shirt being pulled up due to his sleeping position.
Ravn looked over at the duo on the couch then, noting Leedo's arms looked like they are loosing muscle as well as fat in general. Xion somehow looked the healthiest, while he also looked skinny, his skin has color and there is no signs of anything being wrong, well other than the healing wound on his forearm, but even that looked like it was healing really well.
Curiosity made Ravn gently remove himself from Hwanwoong's grasp. He made his way over to the bathroom, quietly of course, and stared at the reflection in the mirror. Ravn almost didn't recognize himself. He had to be the skinniest out of his friends and would admit to looking unwell. Heavy bags were under his eyes and his skin has lost its color, the hair on his head looked heavily disheveled and his lips were formed into a frown. He lifted up his ragged shirt, revealing the major loss of belly fat and his small waist. The clothes that once fit him perfectly were starting to become too big for him.
Its only been a little more than a month since the outbreak.
When Ravn returned from the bathroom he was greeted with a morning squirrel. The two nodded their heads to one another before moving to do their own things. Seoho preparing breakfast for everyone when they wake up and Ravn preparing for going out into the city. The brunette made sure that his backpack was equipped with everything he thought he would need, as well as Hwanwoong's bag since he wanted to be sure the younger would have the things he needed. He knew Leedo would check his own bag multiple times.
By the time everyone else woke up and they ate their poor excuse of a breakfast the sun had fully risen. Leedo and Ravn had probably checked their bags a total of fifteen times before they were getting ready to leave.
"Please be careful guys." Keonhee urged, standing awkwardly in the middle of the room as he was contemplating of giving them hugs or not.
"Seriously, the second any of you feel something is wrong then come back home. No excuses." Seoho continued, almost sounding like a concerned mother, almost.
"You better come back." Xion ordered to Leedo, as the youngest pulled him away to talk to him.
"Of course, I wouldn't leave you." Leedo smiled, ruffling the youngers hair.
"And don't do anything stupid." Xion added, pointing a finger up at the older.
Leedo chuckled and nodded his head. He pulled Xion in for a hug, resting his head on the shorters shoulder for a few moments. When they broke off Leedo returned to the door where Hwanwoong and Ravn were already waiting.
Keonhee did give each of the three a tight hug before they had the chance to leave, he felt it was the proper thing to do. They all waved to each other before the trio closed the door and made their way downstairs to the garage, making sure to put back their barricades as best as they could.
