They arrived back in the city despite all efforts to avoid it. Every route that Ravn found was either blocked off by car recks or a hoard of zombies, leaving the group with no other option than to return to the city. Ravn concluded that they should avoid all residential areas, as he thought that would be where the most zombies are, meaning they had to head towards the central area of the city.

Somehow, only after about five days, the place had turned upside down. Cars were damaged along the roads, windows that weren't boarded up were smashed. Blood coaxed lower walls and sidewalks, and smoke rose out of high buildings. The once lively home to the boys was now a mark of death.

"Any ideas of somewhere to stay?" Leedo, who was in the drivers seat, questioned. "We can't just drive around forever."

Ravn sighed from the passengers seat, slightly shaking his head. "I would say an apartment building but thats way too risky right now."

"What about an office building?" Xion suggested, the youngest sat in the seat behind Leedo, besides him Seoho released a heavy breath.

"I would think there'd be quite a bit of people-uh-zombies there too." Hwanwoong piped up from the furthest back seat.

"A smaller one wouldn't be that bad." Seoho reasoned, already thinking of places that they could try.

"I think we want at least three stories." Ravn told the others his idea. "That way we can have a barrier from things getting in, but we also wouldn't be too high up to where it would be difficult to get down."

"Makes sense." Keonhee was pouting, only because he was scared. The grey atmosphere that surrounded the city was not any help, despite it being a pretty sunny say.

"Stop!" Ravn raised his voice, quickly moving his left hand out in front of Leedo's chest.

The driver did as said, quickly stopping the van. A few zombies limped in the open road, head lolling forwards and back. Blood drooped from their mouths, and their skin seemed to be grey, though covered in blood and torn cloth that was once pieces of clothing. Their mouths craned in disturbing ways, hanging open way further than a human jaw should.

Ravn pulled out a pistol from his inner jacket, the one that used to belong to Leedo's step father. Leedo does the same, holding the gun in one hand while his other hand rested on the wheel. The others in the back became anxious at the sight, already looking away and bunkering down in case if things got bad.

"What's the plan?" Leedo asked, glancing at the older as one of the zombies heads looking in their direction. Leedo swore he locked eyes with the beast for a second.

But the monster showed no reaction.

Ravn lifted a brow and tilted his head to the side. He said nothing and just watched the zombies move and interact. Their lifeless eyes looked around, but they seemed to struggle with getting around, or well, seeing around. Their strange walk patterns and broken legs already made it difficult to get around.

"Are they blind?" Seoho noticed the same things as the oldest, leaning forward on the middle console to see out of the window.

"Seems like it." Ravn responded, taking his eyes off the creatures. "Try driving again, take that road."

Leedo followed where Ravn pointed to a side road that looked unoccupied. Both Seoho and Ravn watched the zombies as Leedo focused on the road.

"Is there a reason we are going so slow?" Keonhee whined, flailing his hand which ended up hitting Hwanwoong's leg continuously. "Let's just get away from the man-eating creatures please."
