The four walked almost carelessly though the empty city streets. Key word, almost. The sun decided to show its face after nearly nine days without direct sunlight. The storm from the previous night seemed to push out any clouds that could possibly cover the sun. But with the sun shining as bright as it is and what the group seemed to of figured out, almost every zombie would be trying to stay in the alleyways where it was shaded and avoid the light at all costs. If they stayed in the streets they should be fine.

Leedo walked ahead of the other three, his eyes watching every crevice where something or someone could hide. Occasionally he would glance towards the sky and make sure nothing was watching them from the rooftops. He'd make the others stop before they took any corners so he could check in all directions. Leedo is quite obviously paranoid, though no one blamed him.

"If I remember correctly, we should be able to walk a few more blocks and find a corner store and a coffee shop across from it." Seoho informed keeping his voice relatively low.

Leedo hummed in response, Xion tuned everyone out and was taking in the sun, and Keonhee was too preoccupied with the task he was given to respond. The four came to the decision of making a map of the area that they explore, making sure they know for sure how to get back home. Keonhee is using leftover paper from a notebook and a pen to roughly sketch a map, making sure to label how different papers correlated to one another, specific buildings of importance, and landmarks that just stand out.

The silence that surrounded them was eerie, their footsteps being the loudest source of sound. Nothing could be heard from a distance away, no screaming, disturbing zombie noises, gunshots, car engines, nothing. It made the boys wonder how many others were out there, struggling to survive just like them, not that knowing the answer would make a difference. But for all they know, they were the last four people alive on the planet.

"Is that it?" Keonhee asked after looking up from his map, pointing towards a pretty desolate building.

"Looks like it." Seoho responded with a small sigh and nod.

"You three wanna go in and I'll stand guard?" Leedo offered as they approached the building.

They all noticed that the same trend is seen with every building they go by, the windows are smashed, paint has peeled off the walls, moss and other overgrowth has taken over, and no power. This building was no different than the others. At least they have an easy escape if something is inside, yet at the same time many things could get in at once and easily overpower them.

"No, you should come in with us." Xion said sternly, giving Leedo a sharp look.

"Just, stand guard inside." Seoho reasoned quickly, looking around the area. "At least it looks like the sun reaches pretty far in and it's not too dark."

It was true, as they made their way inside they didn't even need to pull out their flashlights. Leedo stuck by the front part of the store, watching for any and all possible disturbances. The other three made their way further inside while sticking close to each other. Roles weren't really assigned, but Seoho acted as the lookout amongst the three while Xion and Keonhee relied on his protection and took whatever supplies they could find.

"I don't get it." Keonhee muttered, mostly to himself. "Why can't we ever find anything? We've never encountered other people while scavenging, well I mean, we've never seen other people scavenging. Yet there's like never anything left for us to find."

"I guess people have beat us to it?" Xion added to the olders thought. "I mean when the day the virus broke out Ravn immediately had us break into that grocery store. Maybe other people did the same thing."
