No one expected having to fight zombies the next morning. The sun already lit the streets, but the monsters just kept coming and attacking from who knows where. It confused the group because up to this point, zombies didn't do anything during the day.

Leedo, Mingi, Yunho, and Keonhee were all stationed at the top of the stairs, shooting at any zombies that tried to approached. The method seemed to be working at keeping the monsters at bay, but the sound only attracted more.

"Where are they all coming from? I thought every entrance was blocked." Keonhee called out in a panic as he reloaded his pistol. "I'm running out of ammo!"

"It seems like the back door thats connected to the kitchen." Xion answered from behind the line, frantically searching Keonhee's backpack for more ammunition. "Here, this is your last pack."

Keonhee instantly took the ammo and kept firing at the seemingly never line of zombies. The smell of blood and death choked all of them, and the sight before them almost made some of them vomit. The most accurate way of describing the pile of zombies coming from the kitchen doorway is like a wave from the ocean, it just kept moving after multiple shots going into it. The bodies are all distorted and the other lifeless creatures don't seem to care what they trample over, just that they want to reach the boys.

"Their eyes look different from the ones we've seen before." Hwanwoong commented before backing away from the stairs.

The shortest wanted to help, firing his gun a few times at the hoard, but his panic overwhelmed him in that moment.

"Do we have everything ready to go?" Ravn shouted, rushing from the bedroom at a pace too fast for someone in his state. "I think I can stop them, but we'll have to move fast."

"What the hell is that?" Seoho stared at the strange contraption in the olders hands that was wrapped in a cloth.

"Honestly not even sure." Ravn replied, looking at the group. "It'll create noise, so I'll throw it in the living room. And I'll light it on fire as well, and it should spread fast if I also throw a bottle of alcohol in the same area. So does everyone have everything and is ready to leave?"

Everyone responded with frantic words, but all signaled for the oldest to do as he stated. It was a risky plan, because he didn't even know if these different looking zombies would be attracted to the noise and if the fire spreads too fast then they would be trapped in the flames. Though there wasn't time to think of all the what ifs.

"I'm throwing it!" Ravn announced, lighting the cloth on fire with a lighter and throwing it over the stair railing into the center of the living room.

Instantly a loud alarm started to go off, catching the monsters attention. The wave of corpses began moving away from the stairwell and into the living room, the sound of bones crunching and snarling just barely heard over the alarm. There was also a faint sound of squeaking from the dog toys that fell from the thing Ravn threw as well. He then threw the bottle of alcohol he found in Seoho's backpack in the living room, causing the flame to get brighter and spread across the floor.

The boys didn't waste any time before rushing down the stairs and taking apart the front doors barricade. They rushed outside of the house, which was filled with screams and taken up in flames. Mingi unlocked the van and they all pilled in. The side door wasn't even closed before the giant began backing away from the burning house.

Zombies ran from the building, covered in flames. They chased after the vehicle until their nasty skin peeled away from the bone and they collapsed onto the pavement. Though only more zombies emerged from the shadows and ran after the speeding vehicle. Even exiting the neighborhood didn't help as the creatures just continued to come out of nowhere chase them. They were all just glad Mingi was as good of driver as Ravn, being able to evade the monsters and not cause a disastrous crash.
