After Ash's third gym battle and battle frontier battle, winning both the Dynamo badge and Tactics symbol, our heroes quickly arrive at Fallarbor town and to the contest hall for May for her next pokemon contest.

Brock was once again, lovestruck and happy that Grace was a big eater, imagining their wedding and how he'd cook for her everyday.

However, the daydream was cut painfully short by Rhydon's new move, Head Smash.

Rhydon dragged Brock back to his room and May looked at Grace, like she idolized her.

Grace allowed the gang to see one of Medicham's newer combinations.
It was a combo of Ice Punch and Psychic, where her Xatu uses Feather Dance on the ice from Ice Punch.

May was in complete awe. In the morning, May was indecisive on making combinations. Ash decides to help.

Ash helped Beautifly learn some new moves, like Psychic, Quiver Dance, Swift, Twister, Ominous Wind, Morning Sun, Aerial Ace, and Flash.

He had also helped Torchic learn Flame Charge, Quick Attack, Detect, Aerial Ace, Slash, Shadow Claw, Swords Dance, and Flame Burst.

Ash smiles and gives May's Beautifly and Torchic a pokeblock, who were very happy with it.

Everyone gets a notification about a new law about how many pokemon you can have at once.

The party limit increases from six to eight, unless you, of course, have earned the privilege of being able to carry all of your pokemon like our heroes.

Ash was training Budew and Feebas, petting them after they were done and feeding them his own pokeblocks.

The next day, the pokemon contest starts with the hostess introducing with "Hello everyone and welcome to the Fallarbor Pokemon Contest! I'm your host, Vivian! Now, as you all know, this year will be an interesting time! All five of them uses Double Team and Dig, many copies burrowing, the real deals standing.

The copies uses Thunderbolt, Swift, Bullet Seed, Flamethrower, and Water Pulse from the holes, all of them forming a giant sphere.

The copies pop out of the holes and the real ones uses Leaf Blade, Blaze Kick, Muddy Water, Trump Card, and Volt Tackle, the copies and the sphere being destroyed by the moves, making fireworks.

They all land on the ground and bows to the crowd and judges. The crowd cheers.

"My, that was quite the spectacle." Mr Contesta said, Mr Sukizo added with a "And remarkable."

Nurse Joy concludes with "The choreography with your pokemon clearly shows you not only trust each other, but you also had a lot of practice of moves, not just for show."
