Requested!

Y/n has always wanted to work at the BAU and now they have an opportunity. And she meets a certain someone on the way..
———————————-

"Please, sir you know I'm the only one who can handle this case" I begged my unit Chief.

"Y/n, the only way I can have you work on this case is if you can prove that you can. The rest is up to the BAU" He sighed.

"Then I'll do it! Put in my application and I'll prove it! Please you have no idea how bad I want this" I exclaimed.

"Okay okay. Just- here" He shoved a file into my hands.

"You start training tomorrow, the BAU will choose in a week. Now get back to work"

I stared down at the file in excitement.

"Thank you thank you!" I quickly sped walked away.

I made my way into the bathroom and stared at myself in the mirror.

"Okay boss, time to show them what you've got. You have one chance. One chance" I took a deep breath and rinsed my face with some water.

As I walked out of the bathroom, my head in a complete different state, I bumped into somebody.

My head whipped up and at the floor, noticing the fallen papers of the person.

"Shit, I am so sorry! I was completely distracted that was my fault" I say helping them pick up their stuff.

"No no that's alright, I wasn't paying attention either" They slightly chuckled.

I smiled as we both stood up at the same time. I finally looked at the person in front of me, immediately mesmerized by their smile.

His hair was slightly slicked back but it's fluffiness still fell upon his forehead and eyes, and his dark brown eyes were hid behind his clear black brim glasses. He wore a button up shirt tucked into his dress pants with a satchel across his torso.

I blinked a few times and handed him the papers.

"Sorry about that again" I smile, looking down.

"You're fine, thank you for the help"

"Of course, uh I'm Y/n" I put out my hand for him to shake.

He looked down at it, nervously.

"I- I'm actually germaphobic.. it's actually a lot safer to kiss someone on the cheek" He stuttered out trying not to sound rude about it.

I laughed and put my hand down.

"That's completely fine, I understand. But in that case," I stood on my tippy toes and planted a small kiss on Spencer's cheek.

His ears turned bright red and a small smile perked onto his lips.

"I'll see you around uh" I pointed at him signaling I didn't get his name.

"Spencer, Reid. Spencer Reid.." He grins.

"It was nice to meet you Reid, I'll see you around" I sent another smile his way and walked past him.

Is he new? I've never seen him here before. God I hope he is, that is a beautiful man.

I snapped out of my thoughts as I got to my desk and began to fill out the rest of my paperwork. Tomorrow seemed so far away and waiting a week? God this is going to be exhausting.

11:45 A.M.

I woke up with a jolt from my bed. I gasped for air as I looked at the clock beside me.

SHIT

I bolted across my room and got my workout clothes on. It was finally time to start the training and I had to put in the most effort as possible.

I got there just in time to see two black vans pulling up. I took a deep breath and hopped out of my car.

One chance, you'll do fine

I got in line with the rest of the trainers and got ready to sprint off.

After the Coach gives us our final instructions, he pulls out a gun, pointing up the air and beginning a count down.

I take a few deep breaths and calm myself down getting ready to sprint into action.

The loud gun shot rang through my ears triggering every reflex in my body to sprint ahead before everyone else, grabbing the dummy body and throwing it over my shoulders.

It weighted down on me heavily, it was the literal weight of an actual limp person. I pushed through it and went under the nets and ropes.

Finally I got to the large wall.

Ok breathe. You got this, up and over.

I climbed up the first few fine, almost reaching the top but stopping, lifting the body carefully off my shoulders and onto the top, then climbing myself up.

I panted in relief as I dragged the dummy closer up.

I stood up and grabbed the water bottle the lady in the water stand passed to me. I opened it drinking desperately in need of refreshment.

I pulled back as I heard a few pairs of footsteps approaching from behind me. I wipe my mouth and turn around.

"Good afternoon, Y/n L/n, I'm agent Aaron Hotchner from the BAU. This is agent David Rossi, and-"

"Actually, we've already met.."

My eyes darted to the person of such familiar voice and quickly realized it was the guy from yesterday.

"Spencer! Wow I didn't know you were in the BAU" I say shocked but politely as possible.

"Yeah we're here looking for a new recruit actually" He looks over to his unit chief in case he accidentally said too much.

"Yes, we've come to talk to you about the position" Hotchner spoke.

FUCKKKK YEAHHHH YESS PLEASE!!

"We were watching your technical strategy out of the field and we could really use something like that" Rossi chimed after with a small grin, catching onto my excitement.

Spencer also had a grin on his face.

"If you haven't already put in your application well take it today and review it in my office" Hotch nodded.

"I actually put it in yesterday" I said still trying to contain myself behind my smile.

"Wow I picked up all applications yesterday as well actually" Spencer softly chuckles.

"Great so if your up for it we can go now" Hotch nodded again.

"Of course! I can help" I smile brightly.

With another few explanations we got into our cars and headed to the BAU with me following close behind.
