"Harry Potter," Dumbledore called one last time. The hall was dead silent as I saw my friend stand up. All the mirth and joy that filled the great all was replaced with a cold tension focused on him. Harry looked at me for a moment, and I nodded. Not sure what else I could do. "But he isn't old enough," someone from my house called.

"Does this mean Ced is out of the tournament?" Rolf asked. "We worked so hard this year already,"

Cedric- As if my heart could stop even further. How would he react to see Harry come down those stairs?

"I don't understand," I turned to Arya, who was just as stunned as the rest of us. "I thought there could only be one,"

"I think that is about to change," She said.

"He is a CHEAT," a Slytherin yelled. I looked over to see Malfoy nearby- absolutely furious. Pansy was trying to soothe him, but all he would see was Potter.

"It's wrong," I muttered.

"You are telling me," Pat muttered. "It is always about Potter,"

I shook my head. That wasn't what I meant. "He wouldn't do this," I replied.

"Maisie," Sara put a hand on my arm. "This isn't the time,"

I shook my head, "He didn't do this," I pushed. "You saw the twins, you know they had no way of doing it - there is no way Harry had away-"

"They didn't," Lisa said. "But it wasn't their name that was called, was it?"

I looked back to Harry and felt the urge to walk with him, hug him. I pushed myself up, but Arya caught my arm. "You don't want to do this now; everyone thinks he is cheating,"

"Everyone is wrong," I muttered.

"Maybe they are," She nodded. "But if you go up there, it will look like you had something to do with it, no one in Hufflepuff would believe that, but this isn't just Hufflepuff who is watching you right now,"

I looked around, and sure enough, some eyes had settled on me. Arya leaned forward and rubbed my hand, "Once he leaves, we will go back to the dorm, okay?" I nodded, grateful for her.

"Okay," I said. "thanks,"

I turned back to the group and watched for harry, He was gone, but the tension remained.

"Careful, Maisie, you sound a little too eager to defined your precious potter," Pansy sneered, cutting into our conversation. "Seems like you were expecting his name to come up,"

"What does that mean Pansy," I turned to her, eager for a fight.

"Means I agree with you, she said; no way Harry couldn't have this without help," She said. I felt Draco's eyes shift to me. He was watching me now, gauging my response.

"If you're implying I had something to do with this- you're more stupid than you look," I said.

"And that is saying something," Arya turned her focus to the table. No one was more loyal than Arya, in my opinion- regardless of how she felt about this, she did not falter coming to help me.

"Really- because you said yourself two people have never been picked before- sounds like something is wrong with the goblet- like someone tampered with it," Pansy smiled. "And we all know how much you love your precious Potter,"

More people than I liked heard pansy's thinly veiled accusation. I could feel the focus shift to me. My eyes glanced up to Gryffindor's table. I still couldn't see George; what did he think right now. "You said last year you would do anything for your friends- whats one little tournament,"
