MAISIE POV

"Hey May..." A voice echoed in my mind.

Everything hurt, and my whole body felt gravity with more force than I realized. Why did it all hurt.

"May," Oh that voice was loud, definitely not in my head then. I wanted to turn over and hide from it. The sound was an awful invention. Who decided it was okay to talk?

"Maisie,"

I did not respond. Instead I turned away from the noise, reaching for my pillow to cover my head in the hopes it would be enough to shut the noise out. It was not.

"Alright, fuck this then,"

I felt the blanket pull out from over me and my body curled up in a ball. "Time to get up before I dump water on your bed," my pillow was next to go.

"What the fuck," I hissed looking up at my surroundings. I was in my bed, in my dorm room, Hogwarts. This part made sense. Something still felt off though, as if the castle wasn't the same as before but I couldn't pinpoint it. I must have forgotten something.

"Sorry your highness," Rolf's voice was easy enough to lock on to. I turned towards his voice, blinking away the sleepiness in my eyes. "But you cannot avoid your problems like this,"

"Avoid my-?" I tilted my head and flinched when the pain of what felt like a tonne of bricks falling on my head. "Owe!"

"Owe?" Arya echoed, a hint of irony in her tone.

"Yeah, fucking owe," I responded. "I feel like the Hogwarts Express ran through my head. I reached for a glass of water on my nightstand, hoping one was nearby. When my fingers touched the cold glass I let out an audible breath of relief.

"Are you... hungover?" Rolf said.

"No- the Hogwarts Express actually ran through my head," I rolled my eyes taking a sip. The water was fine but I still felt queasy. "What do you think?"

"Oh," My friend and my cousin nodded at the same time, "Yeah that makes sense," Arya said. "You did drink the whole liquor cabinet,"

"And then some," Rolf said. "Sorry May... we thought you were sulking,"

"Sulking?" I said, surprised.

Rolf nodded. "Yeah- no one would blame you,"

"Hold on," Arya raised a hand, watching my face with her cat-like stare, "I don't think she is there yet,"

"What do you mean?" Rolf turned and looked at Arya with an arched eyebrow.

"Yeah, what do you mean?" I replied leaning forward a little.

Arya gave Rolf a look as if to say 'watch this' then turned to me. "What is the last thing you remember last night?"

"Last thing?" I leaned back slightly thinking back to it all and then a whole new rush of a headache came back to me. "Fuck," I hissed before slumping back into the bed and trying to scramble for what ever sheet was closest.

Cedric, Lisa and of course George. All of the memories from last night were unlocked in my mind in a second and nothing could be more unpleasant.

"There it is," Arya said with some amusement. "Welcome back to the real world,"

"Thanks," I raised the glass in appreciation. "That is fun to wake up to,"

"I figured you would want to head to the paddock before everyone else got up," Rolf said. "Or maybe get some food,"

"Food is good," Arya replied, sitting next to me.

"Food seems suspect," I replied.

"May-"
