First aid is awkward, right?

GEORGE POV

"You?" I raised an eyebrow at the girl in front of me, not sure how to react. "Are... are you sure you are in the right spot,"

Lisa pushed her hair to the side with wide eyes and nodded. "I... I figured ..."

"Is Bagsy okay?"

Lisa narrowed her eyes slightly at the word Bagsy but she nodded. "I ... since things ended the way they did last night," She looked down at whatever was in her hands. "I figured you would need some help with... hiding that..."

I looked down to see she was holding a first aid kit. And then back to Lisa, she did not want to be here, the way she looked at the students around her and did everything she could to not make eye contact. But there Lisa stood, waiting patiently for my response.

"Oh... um... yeah..." I started to blink as I processed the new information, "Um-"

"Oh she can help but I can't?" Fred muttered. "Does this have anything to do with how your face got like this in the first place?"

"Perhaps?" I said giving Lisa a look to stay quiet, she owed me that at least.

She owed me months, but she couldn't get me those months back, no one could. I could only give myself that time.

"Joining a badger and keeping me in the dark?" Fred whistled, putting his hands in his pockets as he walked over to Angelina, "What ever could this all be about,"

:"Hopefully George will tell you,"

"That would be the smart thing," Fred said, looking at Lisa like she was a math problem, "So safe to say that won't be what happens,"

"Oi!" I shot back, "That's a bit far, don't you think,"

"We're all a little far off brother," Fred muttered. "You can use our room, Nurse Abbott," and just like that Fred was gone.

"That's my sister's," Lisa muttered. "I just stole her kit,"

"Well you are consistent, aren't you?"

The comment was below the belt, painful and stinging, and in my opinion this was exactly what Lisa deserved. And from the expression on her face, I left a good point for her to ponder on.

"You want me to call back your brother?" Lisa muttered. "I remembered he did so well in that mending lesson we all took,"

"Lee was fine,"

"After my work, he was," Lisa said, gripping the med kit, "So do you want help or not?"

I looked at Lisa, unsure how to respond. "I need to meet someone,"

"Maisie can wait for your face to stop looking so... beat in,"

"Cedric looks worse," I muttered.

"He did, then I fixed him," Lisa rolled her eyes. "Now will you let me fix this or will you keep preening?"

I was stunned at her tact, and for a second I saw that fierceness, the type that was becoming a hufflepuff trait. "My room is this way,"

"Finally,"

We were quiet as Lisa followed me down the hall, somewhere Fred was watching, wondering what the fuck I had goteen into.

If he managed to solve the riddle, I would love to hear it.

"Where... where do you want me to..." Lisa looked around my room with nervous movements.

"Oh I can sit at the desk,"
