"Nessa!" A voice hissed. "Do you think I am will be the last one to discover your whereabouts?" I walked down the steps as quietly as possible. "This isn't something you will get away with,"
"Why not?" I heard my mother hiss. "No one will put it together- she can live her whole life unaware,"
"Until she comes to Hogwarts until people found out, she is a little older than the others, and then start guessing,"
"Like I said," My mother called. "No one can put this together, except you, of course,"
"He can put the pieces together,"
"Maybe, but who is he going to tell?"
"Nessa, you may think this is over, but it's not. He will find out. And then face the truth,"
"Until then, get out," My mother said. "Before I argue self-defense,"
The door opened. "The truth will come out, Nessa, and God helps you when that day comes," The man said. "Because I won't."
"Never expected you to do so L-,"
The dream faded away and was quickly replaced with reality. Which was slow, painful, and fog.
I woke up, but my body felt like an anchor. The process was slow and painful. The sound was the easiest thing to be aware of. It took me a while to distinguish who was talking.
"That's my final word, Potter,"
"This is ridiculous," I heard someone hiss. "They are her friends too-"
"Pomfrey said that only family should be here- until she wakes up. To keep things quiet and peaceful," The other voice said. "I don't want to risk anything getting in the way of that,"
"But-"
"I already let in your friend against my better judgment, I am not letting the whole Gryffindor house in,"
"They are all worried,"
"So is everyone in Hufflepuff," I knew this voice; this was Rolf. "But they are waiting; that is all we can do,"
"Can't we just talk about this,"
"No," Rolf replied. "I am sorry, but I have said here, she is my cousin by blood, and that is what Pomfrey recommended, so that is what we are doing," There was a long pause, "I have sympathy- I do, but I need her to wake up,"
"You're right," Harry said. I heard him sigh. "Sorry,"
"I get it," Rolf said. There was a long pause between them. "It should be soon,"
I wanted to say that I was waking up, but my body felt so heavy. "Mhm-" I muffed.
"May?" I felt someone take my hand. "Hey,"
"Maisie,"
"Wha-" My eyes began to register my surroundings. I was someone with high ceilings.
"We need to get Pomfrey," Rolf said.
"I will," My hand felt cold,
"Thanks," Rolf's voice got closer; I found him, though, eventually. It took what felt like too long for my eyes to focus on him. "Hey there,"
"Hi-mph,"
"Don't try and talk," Pomfrey stepped into view. "Not for a little while longer; your jaw still needs time,"
"Ti-" I winced again in pain; she was right; talking was painful.
"Poor thing," Pomfrey didn't seem to hold it against me. "You are confused, aren't you?"
