The rest of October went really quickly and November went by in a heart beat.

Remus had tried the potion she had made and was thrilled to report back the next morning with a wide smile on his face, "It worked, Ellie, it actually fucking worked!"

She asked Remus not to tell his friends that she was making the potion, because she didn't want James to know.

He would be a dick about it.

When the Christmas break was preparing to start, Elladora was surprised to see a letter saying that she had to come home. She didn't mind, of course, it meant more time available to piss them off.

So, when she arrived home, she was slightly hesitant. They had never demanded her home before, and she certainly wasn't sure why they had now. But, she walked in with her parents and went to her room.

What surprised her even more was when they called her down for dinner. Elladora eyed them suspiciously.

"What's going on?" Elladora finally asked as she bit into some of the chicken.

"We are spending Christmas at the Potter's, and you are required to come. We do not care about whatever happened with you and James - you are coming." Lavender, Elladora's mother, said formally.

Elladora nodded slowly, taking in the news.

She was going to have to spend a full day with James and Sirius.

Well, that sounded like her own personal hell.

"If I don't make it until Christmas, do I still have to come?"

Richard rolled his eyes at his daughter, "Yes, Elladora."

Elladora scowled and dismissed herself from the table.

She fell into an uneasy sleep that night, for she didn't want Euphemia and Fleamont to see the full extent of how far her and James's relationship had soured.

When Christmas morning broke through the clouds, Elladora groaned. They were going to the Potter's in three hours, and were expected to stay there until midnight. Which was a full twelve hours.

Elladora and James couldn't even spend thirty seconds together without arguing.

So, Elladora got showered and decided that she if she was going out, she would go out a bad bitch.

She put on her high waisted black baggy jeans and her cropped black David Bowie shirt. The put on her trusty Doc Martins, and did her makeup. Her usual smoked out winged eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss. She curled the ends of her hair and sprayed her cinnamon spray.

She sucked in a breath and prepared herself for the shit show that was sure to follow.

Once the three hour window was up, the Emerson's walked to the house next door, and knocked politely on the door. Elladora was stood behind her parents with no particular expression on her face.
